Hi Mallory. Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, the security was very wrong to tell you such things about the area. It is the city centre - a very popular destination in Cape Town. In fact, our parliament and high court is literally on the same road, so I am not sure how our top judges and lawyers fair when reporting for duty daily. If this area is unsafe, then the rest of Cape Town must be a war zone. The city centre is one of the MOST EXPENSIVE and SOUGHT-AFTER areas in South Africa, let alone Cape Town. A taxi/Uber wouldn't even accept your ride if you were only travelling one road. This is absurd. As is your claim that we would kit out a LUXURY apartment with discoloured linens. As stated previously, I was at the apartment myself on the day you checked in and everything was in order. I have been to the apartment post-checkout and seen that both the fitted sheet and the pillowcases are severely discoloured. I am not sure what happened, but this was most certainly not how I left it on my last inspection. Even the Egyptian towels were ruined, which I also folded and hung these up myself. They were not discoloured like this. It's like they were washed with a red or pink garment or something. We also found pinkish-orange discolouration on the marble around the bathroom sink, as well as the shower. It is clear that you were indeed you made mess with something this colour as we also found several napkins that were used to wipe up something that was pinkish-orange. So everything suggests foul play on your part. Lastly, the listing STATES VERY CLEARLY that it gets very LOUD on the weekends. You even had to acknowledge this in the rules before booking. "You must also acknowledge: Potential for noise - The area can get quite noisy on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, as Long Street is bustling and known for nightlife." So I am not sue how you have marked that this was not accurately reflected in your star rating on the apartment. Everything (noise, photos, amenities, listing description) is listed verbatim. What do you mean???
