Inspired by country living, art and found objects! An eclectic, creative, energetic space nestled in lovely bush. Just a short trip to Castlemaine, Maldon and Bendigo. Lovely natural light, a comfortable home, and a delight of native wildlife.
Nestled on the Muckleford Creek, this lovely bit of Central Victoria has a certain zing to it. Maybe it's because of the location between out two local mountains (small ones, but hey, there's a network of rivers and streams as a result!) Some would say that all that water brings a positive energy to the area. I think so, along with the clean air, lovely local villages, and beaut country people.

Échanges avec les voyageurs
You may need some space, or want to chat heartily! Happy to do both, depending on when we're about. For breakfast there's our lovely home-made muesli, fresh eggs and toasty fresh local bread, with some lovely home-made chutney condiments. We buy locally roasted coffee and enjoy loose leaf tea. We can share breakfast together if we're about, otherwise the kitchen is all yours! Same applies for the rest of the day, so bring or prepare your other meals or contribute to a shared bite. There's usually something tasty bursting in the veggie garden!
I decided to open my home for guests after a writer-friend visited and said, "This is such a creative and inspiring place, with so much positive energy! People who write, or create or need to recharge would love it!" I know I do. I'm a community photographer and get an injection of the right stuff just by living here. I grow food, keep chickens, do a lot of exercise, both physical and creative! So you'll have a chance to rest, relax, create or enjoy the calm whilst you're here.
