Close proximity to the beach. Best apartment (P601) in the building. Located on the sixth floor (top floor), corner position, it has views from the living room of the jungle and a 10 metre long balcony that looks out to Kata beach.

The building is special. Low density - only 50 apartments. It is very close to the beach, amenities and major roads, yet is very quiet because of the high elevation.
Aspect to the beach is wonderful. It is a good 100 metres above sea level at carpark level.
Kitchen has every convenience to prepare and eat meals. Everything from wine glasses and plates, to kettle, toaster and microwave / griller is provided.
A supply of toilet paper is provided in both bathrooms. Shampoo and soap you will need to provide.
Linen and towels are provided for each bedroom.
We have hosted many families with children under 4 years of age. Baby cot, toys and strollers can be rented online and delivered to the apartment the day you arrive. (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) accepted.

Aircon is available in rooms and living space. However you don't need aircon. Just open the door and the windows and you have a breeze day and night. There is an enormous sliding window facing the jungle. Open it for incredible cross breezes.
Cable TV and Wifi
TV units are in each room including the living space. Internet speed is faster than Singapore.
Sound system and DVD player
Listen to music from your phone, ipad or laptop. Watch DVD movies.
Each bedroom has built-in storage space to hang clothing and store away in draws.
There are two balconies to sit. A 10 metre balcony which looks out to the ocean with jaccuzi, and a second balcony which faces onto the jungle.
Working from home
There is a choice of three tables to work from. Work from the balcony of a morning when it is cool. Later move inside when it becomes warmer and sit either at the dining table or convert the decorative table to a study.
There are two pools and a gymnasium available for use during daylight hours. One pool is on the same floor as apartment 601.
Parking of a hire car or motorcycle is free and undercover. A nights watchman is present during the evenings.
Shops in walking distance
Enjoy shopping at Tesco and Makro supermarkets. There is also the Kata wet markets where locals go.

It is a good idea to install the app 'Line' on your phone and reach the house manager by Line during your stay should you need to.
The apartment block has two pools and a gym. But who cares? The beach is a five minute motorcycle ride.
About the gymnasium
Fully equipped and air conditioned gym offering panoramic views of the sea and jungle while you work out.
The gym and the apartment share the same floor, so access is convenience.

Arrival at airport
Get a local sim card when you arrive in Phuket airport. I suggest also getting data if you need regular internet. Phuket does experience outages of power and internet from time to time. The cards can be topped up at Seven Eleven stores.
Getting to Sea and Sky condo
Take a taxi from the airport to apartment. Approx 1000 baht. The bus is problematic. The taxi driver my not know the address, so ask them to take you to Baan Karon Resort (on a main road), which is directly opposite Sea and Sky Go up the small side street (Soi 12), and make a left turn up a steep ramp to Sea and Sky, which faces Baan Karon on the mountain opposite.
If power or internet goes down you can speak to house manager. Power and internet normally takes 3-6 hours to restore and is not a failure of the building.
Circuit breakers are located above the refrigerator.
Run the taps
The first time you use taps or shower, run the water for 10 seconds. Water in Thailand cultures. Any bad odours will disappear after 10 seconds.
Change of linen and cleaning of the apartment occurs each week and is mandatory. A fee of 1,000 baht is required to be paid to concierge for their service. Cleaning includes change of linen and laundry of towels and linen.
Speak to concierge if you require personal laundry and ironing. They will quote you a per kilo price.
Electricity and water are measured at the end of your stay, and deducted from the security deposit.
The security deposit is 5,000 baht. Items broken can be paid in cash before check out.
On arrival go to the administration area located on the ground floor carpark. Staff will greet and guide you to the apartment. It is important to check in between 9am to 5pm Mon-Sat.

. Collect two security cards for the apartment and a security card for the main door at ground level.

I recommend purchasing a local Sim card on arrival to Phuket airport. Phuket does experience Internet and power outages from time to time so purchase of data is a good idea.
In the master bedroom is a keypad activated security box and instruction guide on password setting.
Please respect the space
No pets or smoking. Shoes outside the apartment.
Please be careful using the sofa in the living room. It is a very expensive piece. Avoid putting feet on this piece so it does not scratch.
Maximum 4 persons are permitted to stay. Items broken are to be paid for by the guest.
Garbage removal. Garbage is to be removed once daily by the guest. Bins are located on the ground floor, rear of the building.
Unscheduled visits. We reserve the right to visit and carry out any repairs etc between 9am - 5pm without prior notice.
Please water our plants every 3 days and help us keep them green.
Please inform concierge 3 days in advance the date of your check out. They will organise an inspection before your departure. Please report any broken or missing items during the inspection.
Utility bills settled before departing, as well as notifying us if any items have been damaged or missing.
Please remember to return the security swipers. Each is valued at 300 baht if replacement is required.
