We want to apologise for the unsatisfying experience that you had at Karoobosch. We will give attention to the matters as stipulated by you. As you’ll see in previous reviews, no guests were unhappy with the safely, cleanliness or the appearance of the unit in the past and we were therefore not aware of the problems. I apologise for the dirty table outside. It was an extremely windy week and Potchefstroom is very dry and dusty in the wintertime – we really try to keep the garden neat in the winter but sometimes nature just takes its own route. I do understand that the rustic, country style vibe of the cottage is not everybody’s cup of tea but you have to take in mind that accommodation for R220pp in Potchefstroom is basically non exciting. We therefore serve a market where people who need, not necessarily expensive, luxury accommodation, for an overnight stay and like the rustic look as presented on the pictures. I apologise again, as I did after your stay, for asking you about the outstanding money. For a host, there is nothing worse than to have to ask for money from the guests who we open our homes to – I always try to do it as polite and respectful as possible, but I do apologise once again. Just a note, the wi-fi password and instructions for the use of the TV were (and still are) available on the information pages on the kitchen wall and on the airbnb booking instruction page. We did immediately restart the wi-fi rooter as soon as you left for your function and tested both TV’s. Netflix worked perfectly on both of them. We also understand that it is new technology that we use and some guests might find it a bit challenging to operate. We are currently busy with some renovations to make the establishment even more private and comfortable for future guests. We will definitely take your feedback in consideration when doing so.
Kind regards, Chantelle & Deon.
