Thank you for your stay and your review. I apologize for the gym access, however, I’m in the process of finding a solution. There was a fob reader system before, which your key would have worked. However, since it’s been removed the only access is thru a master fob key. The master fob key cost $125 and I only have one, thus the reason for the deposit request. Since I didn't hear back from you, I figured you or your girlfriend didn't want to pursue it.
As far as the electricity, when I initially brought up the high usage, you couldn’t understand why it was high. That’s why I decided to send you a copy of two consecutive bills. Since the billing cycle started one day after your arrival, it gave me a true indication of your usage. As I mentioned to you, I wanted you to be comfortable but at the same time, cautious with the a/c. As it turned out, you were leaving the a/c on during the day while you were at work. It was basically running 24/7. Since our conversation, you started turning the a/c off when you went to work. And since your girlfriend was visiting for two weeks (initially you told me it was going to be for one week) I’m sure she was leaving it on as well.
By the way, the unit was occupied for the entire month before your stay, as I no longer host for less than 30 days. If you recall, I gave you a tour of the unit before your booking at your request and with the permission of the guest. It was a coordinated effort to find a time that worked for you, myself and the guest for the tour.
