Guests fully enjoy staying long-term in this private and quiet condo with full kitchen, laundry, big bedroom designed for long-term relaxation tucked securely away in the hustle and bustle of a midtown business district. You're within a few minutes of airport, downtown, restaurants, grocery, and a variety of stores, night life and activities to suit most people. No destination in Anchorage is more than 15 minutes away, including all medical and university campuses!

It is thoroughly cleaned between stays, stocked with linens and essentials such as shampoo and soap, it has a fully equipped kitchen for dining in, and makes for comfortable living for weeks on end.

Owner is not on site, though he is available to answer questions via phone, text or airbnb message service.

Complimentary wi-fi, blue-ray and streaming internet video.

Spare blankets, futon, airbed and things to make extra guests comfortable. The place comfortably sleeps two couples.

Walk-in closet to store extra luggage.

Be respectful of belongings and space. This is a privately owned residence.

By car, it's just 7 minutes from the airport, 2 minutes from downtown. 10 minutes from medical and university campus. On foot or bicycle, you're still within a few minutes of stores and shops, jogging/biking trails, the gym. You have your own fully-equipped kitchen and living conveniences, off street assigned parking, walk-in closet.

Owner is off-site but available to meets with guests (he is often traveling as well, so will appoint a caretaker if gone). You are provided code access to check in day or night you have to use a code to unlock a key box and the unit deadbolt. It is extremely important to have and print this information, in advance the instructions for getting in.

This cozy and clean condo on the 3rd floor of a 4-story building with a secure, coded entrance. The neighborhood doesn't appear upscale - it is mostly condos, apartments and a few older homes. People who are used to living in class-limited or all-white suburb may be uncomfortable with its diversity of Korean, Indian, African, Thai, Vietnamese, Hmong, Hawaiian and various Pacific Island cultures. However, the area is in the process of being gentrified, and my block is home to several of Anchorages coolest and most famous hang-outs including Bear's Tooth Theatre Pub (concerts/movies), Chilcoot Charlies (dance club), Title Wave Bookstore, Middleway and Kaladi Brother's Cafe, Yak and Yeti (Himalayan restaurant), Organic Oasis (restaurant), Oriental Healing Arts Center, and Anchorage's BEST places to buy outdoor gear, including Hoarding Marmot and Alaska Mountaineering and Hardware. more popular for its night scene, restaurants and easy walking to shops, athletic club, grocery store, a yoga studio (Evolve) and bike trail systems across the greenbelt (Westchester) which span Anchorage from one end to the other. You can exit Anchorage via Walter Hickel Expressway going south, and Glenn Highway via downtown in good time.

By car, you are downtown in less than two minutes. The bus stop is less than a block away, and the transit center is about 5 minutes. The airport is less than 10 minutes even in heavy traffic hours.

This unit is right in a busy city center. If you are looking for a nice, quiet neighborhood, we have other listings in South Anchorage (near the mountains in the woods) including Jupiter Garden and the Spacious Top-Level Guesthouse.

Guests are responsible for their behavior as well as everyone in their party. Follow common sense/general courtesies. Don't smoke or wear shoes in the condo and mindful of sound in the building. Be respectful of building tenants. I charge only a modest cleaning fee, unless a guest leaves it in disrepair or very unclean. Under those circumstances, additional cleaning fees may be deducted from your deposit, up to the full amount of deposit. Some wear and tare is acceptable, as no appliance or feature is perfect. Just be respectful of the condo and your neighbors. Let me know when checking in if you see anything out of order, unclean or broken, or I will assume it was caused by your party. If it is a major issue, then I will be over as soon as possible to fix the issue.

Jerami is a lifelong Alaskan mixed blood including Aleut, Russian, Eastern European.

Jerami's family has a long history in Alaska. His great grandfather's grandfather, the explorer John W. Clark, came to Alaska for a US telegraph job in the 1800's. The family ended up settling in Bristol Bay. There Clark helped build the commercial fishing industry into what it is today. When men were men, they built and fished from wooden sailboats and muscled in their nets by hand. J.W. Clark established the first fish "saltery" and managed the local AC store. The family multiplied and spread out to hunt, trap, mine, commercial fish and pioneer the bush pilot era, while living immersed in traditional native and subsistence ways of living.

Jerami served in the military then came back to Alaska to work for the government for a few years before earning a B.A. in public communications with the University of Alaska.

Jerami is at home in the outdoors, exploring, guiding, and hosting travelers and continues to develop new business ventures for Alaska's growing tourism industry with an eco-friendly approach. His business includes lodging, tours, transport and concierge services. He helps clients find the adventure they have always dreamed of.

His other ventures include locally-focused investments, with planning/developing for long-term sustainable agricultural infrastructure aimed at making Alaska less dependent on outside food resources.

His current projects, which he loves to discuss with guests, include developing a commercial aquaponics co-op that will allow him to grow organic food for himself, guests and neighbors in the community.

With a great love for travel, providing comfortable accommodations for international guests keeps him entertained between adventures.

In his spare time, he balances exploration with cultivation, cooking, brewing, hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, climbing, rafting, sailing and traveling.
