Description
Description

Ideal location, walking distance to Shinsaibashi and Namba stations. Close to popular nightlife, shopping and dining areas.
There is a supermarket and a convenient store 1 minute away that are open 24 hours.
Our apartment is spacious and clean.

We are creative and stylish people and have a large apartment by Japanese standards. The kitchen, dining space and living room are separate from the rest of the apartment by a door. This is the area where the guests stay, and it is shared during the day with us. There is also an average sized balcony off the living room where you can hang your laundry and smoke. It is also where the garbage bins are located.

We have travel books and art, wifi as well as complimentary coffee and tea.
There is a grocery market across the street and a convenience store next door, and guests are welcome to use the refrigerator as well as the kitchen and it's appliances for cooking, as long as they clean up after themselves.
Shower and bath are available and we provide guests with the basics- towels, shampoo and conditioner and a hair dryer. Please re-use your towels for the duration of your stay, and dry them on the front balcony.
Extra bedding is available.

Even though you are our guests, this is our home, and the atmosphere is of course comfortable, relaxed and friendly. Interaction should be natural, and not forced.
Of course we are social people as well, so it may happen that we actually enjoy our interactions with our guests and maybe even go out together for drinks etc.

There is a grocery store, library, gym and pool on our street, as well as several nice bars and restaurants. There is a convenience store next door, and a post office with international ATM's just around the corner.

We are located a convenient 10 minute walk from Shinsaibashi station, and a 15 minute walk to Namba station, both main stations on the Midosuji line. We have an extra bicycle as cycling is common method of transportation in Japan, and guests are welcome to use it during their stay. Taxis, although the most expensive option, are never difficult to get.
We are at Nagahoribashi station. It is on Osaka city subway lines both the Sakaisuji (brown) line and the Nagahoritsurumiryokuchi (lime green) line.
We are a 5-10 minute walk from exit 6 or 7.
If you are coming from the airport, please take the Nankai line to Tengachaya station and then transfer to the subway Sakaisuji line to our station.
The map on our profile page gives clear instructions to our apartment. Simply walk south on the Main Street after leaving exit 6 or 7 and turn left at the second set of lights, at the intersection with the Foodium supermarket. Then walk straight until you reach our apartment. It's the last apartment on the right before the Family Mart convenience store.
The other option is a limousine bus to either Namba or Uehommachi.

Smoking is allowed outside on the balcony
Guests are expected to clean up after themselves.
We can recommend and give directions to major tourist attractions, as well as popular restaurants, bars, pubs, clubs and shopping areas.
We have been living in Japan for more than 6 years, so we can help you with just about anything!

We ask that you stay out of the two private bedrooms in the apartment.
The living room, dining area, kitchen, shower and toilet are all shared.

Ideally we will be there to check guests in, but occasionally guests will need to check themselves in and out.
We would love to hang out and we sometimes do when we are not busy- we are happy to take guests out for a beer or show them some cool places in the neighborhood. When we are busy, we will still make time to chat with guests and offer recommendations for places to go for shopping, eating and sightseeing.
There is no curfew, but we do ask on weeknights that guests keep the noise level down while others are sleeping.

Our apartment is located on Suomachi, a street that runs right through the heart of Shinsaibashi and all the way in to American village, a great place to shop and eat and have fun!
We have a supermarket and a Family Mart next door which are open 24 hours.
Dotonbori and Kurumon Ichiban are just a 10 minute walk away.
You can be at USJ in 30 minutes.
We are in a very convenient location for everything!

We are only a 5-10 minute walk from Nagahoribashi, Nippombashi or Shinsaibashi station. Namba station is 15 minute walk away.
Taxis can be easily caught in front of the apartment.

Meghan and Alex have both travelled extensively throughout Japan, and have resided in Osaka for a combined 13 years- so we are experts on the BEST things to do and see!!

Meghan

Hello I'm Meghan, I love people, travel, food and fun.
I am enjoying living and working in Japan, and the freedom it gives me to adventure to places, meet new people and try new things.
So far I have travelled to 10 countries in Asia, of course Japan is my favorite. I have travelled extensively here and have lots of stories to tell, recommendations to make or advice to give.
Part of the reason we are hosts on airbnb is so that we can share all that we have learned in our time living here with our guests, and help them to have as positive an experience as possible.
Of course those who are not interested in connecting with us or who are characteristically unkind, we would ask that you please accommodate yourself in a hotel. As we are inviting you in to our home, we expect RESPECT from our guests, and impolite behavior simply will not be tolerated.
We are sincerely looking forward to welcoming you and hope you are looking forward to meeting us.
Safe travels!!
