Échanges avec les voyageurs
We always greet guests and open the bungalow for them when possible (which is almost always). Normally guests just leave the keys locked inside the door when they leave.
We also offer ideas on restaurants, cafes, bars, and sights, and have a list of our favorites that we provide.
We are happy to interact a lot, if guests are interested, some are and others are not. Guests can access and enter/leave the bungalow without interacting with us, although we are living right next-door.
We live in a great neighborhood for walking or biking to parks, the river, cafes, restaurants, bars, and small shops. Our block is totally residential and very quiet, but just a block away and beyond there is a lot to do and see.
We have never had any noise problems with any AirBnB guests. We let people know that the local sound ordinance requires no extremely loud noise after 10:30pm, but so far our guests have not been inclined to "party" in our back garden.
Guests can park on the street in front of our house, there is plenty of safe, free parking. We've only had one guest who felt more comfortable parking in our driveway, which was fine.
À partir du 8 novembre 2017 - 10 novembre 2017, la durée minimum de séjour est de 2 nuits.
I moved to Austin 10 years ago and feel I've found my home. I'm a professor of English as a Second Language at a local university and very active in the local urban agriculture movement-- I helped start up a big community garden in downtown/east Austin, just a few blocks from our house.
I love urban life and enjoy walking or riding bikes along the city's hike-and-bike trail which is a few blocks from our house. I also value knowing my neighbors and meeting travelers from around the country and the world. I lived in Holland for five years and have traveled extensively throughout Europe, the Middle East, Mexico, and Argentina. My husband is fluent in Spanish and I'm still pretty good in Dutch.
