We welcome guests on arrival, show them amenities, and are available for contact throughout the stay, otherwise we are hands off. Ideally we like to bid you a fond farewell whilst collecting keys etc.
One of the 7stanes mountain bike areas is inbetween Innerleithen and Walkerburn, just 1.5km from the Old Railway Station. You pass a riding centre on the way. In Innerleithen, just 2 miles away, there is a 9-hole golf course, and the championship course of Cardrona is just 4 miles away. The Tweed river runs just 30 yards from the cottage, and this beat is particularly famous for large salmon and trout caught between Septmeber and November. Various concerts and events happen at Traquair House only 3 miles away.
No smoking. That's it! Pets welcome. Kid friendly. Although there are some steps leading to the front door, there is a rail to help those that need some assistance, and the cottage is wheelchair friendly once inside. There is a 3-night minimum stay required for all bookings.
