Our home was built by our family just after the 1906 San Francisco earthquake. It is a charming, comfortable home. Our safe and friendly neighborhood is well established and conveniently located within walking distance of all that Berkeley has to offer. Close to restaurants, shops, parks, music venues, theater, and the University of California. Berkeley has something for everyone. Easy access to public transportation! We welcome you to our little corner of Berkeley.
This light and airy carpeted bedroom is newly decorated and ready for guests. Enjoy a queen bed with high quality bedding and linens, a lovely antique dresser, and several photographs and sweet paintings. We share an upstairs bathroom with combination jacuzzi tub and shower. A hair dryer and basic toiletries including shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided for your convenience. An additional half bathroom downstairs is available as well. Wi-fi is available in your room.

We love hosting but are happy to have as much or little interaction as you wish. We have been active home exchangers for 12 years and enjoy meeting people from all over the world.
Our home is pet-free and smoke-free.
We request that no high heels be worn in our downstairs as they damage the soft wood flooring.
**Please note that as of 9/1/2017 the city of Berkeley now requires that we pay 14% of the nightly listing price as Occupancy Tax. We have included this in the listing price so you will not be required to remit any additional funds for your stay.**
If you use the kitchen or common areas of the house, please keep them clean.
My husband, Don and I love hosting people in our home. We've been active home exchangers for 12 years and we've also stayed in many Airbnb's. We are happy to be listing our home. Both of us are avid travelers and have visited many countries in Europe, Asia, North and Central America and Australia. We enjoy meeting folks from all over the world and have built lasting friendships with many.
In addition to travel, we love art, music, good wine, and the great outdoors. Don is a photographer and I own 2 retail stores with my sister. In my spare
time I enjoy making quilts, listening to Irish music and reading.
