Hi Harby, it is unfortunate that you had negative experiences, I have only had positive experiences before and after you stayed with me. I will address each of your individual issues, I was out of state during most of your stay. It's worth noting that you were unhappy that I could not accommodate letting you stay an extra 8 hours on a Saturday when I had another group checking in that same day. That was an unreasonable request given I need time to clean and prepare the space for the next guests (who had a 5-star experience), and I believe that colored your attitude towards your stay. 1) The air mattress was damaged by the stay that happened right before you. It has since been replaced for a brand new one. The duct tape offer was the fastest solution I could give because I was in California. 2) Prior to your stay, no one has had concerns about the number of spoons, nor the number of pillows, you were upset that I did not offer 10 pillows like your last stay, which seems unreasonable for 4 people. 3) A/C is provided, along with multiple ceiling fans. I heard no mention of this when I met you in-person and asked you, "how you were doing." 4) It is a brand new queen-sized mattress in the main bedroom, I have only gotten feedback that it is comfortable. 5) I will take a look at the toilet—I would have appreciated this feedback prior to your review. 6) Again, I have never had this complaint, this is unique to your stay. 7) Jersey City is a city. Stays before and after your stay have mentioned that it is quiet for a city. Perhaps it was more busy than usual during your stay, but that is atypical.
