"The Canyon Retreat" 4 bedroom, 4 bath Canyon Racquet condo at the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon - We are 9 miles from Alta, Snowbird (Little Cottonwood Canyon) and 12 miles from Solitude Brighton (Big Cottonwood Canyon) and 15 miles from DOWNTOWN Salt Lake City.
For 2017-18 ski season- We will be removing the carpeting on the main level (no more green!) and installing beautiful hickory hardwood and all new custom living room furniture - photos do not show the renovations yet!

WHAT IS IT?
The most convenient way to ski Salt Lake! The Super Pass allows you to ski a different resort every day during your Salt Lake stay. It's an easy to use card that can be redeemed for an all-day lift ticket to Alta, Brighton, Snowbird, or Solitude, PLUS round-trip travel on UTA city buses, ski buses, and TRAX light-rail. Save time, money and ski where you want, when you want. The card can be activated for one to ten days of skiing or riding and is valid for a ten day period. Just let us know how many you will need and we can have them ready upon your arrival.,

1. CHECK-IN TIME IS AFTER 4 P.M. MST AND CHECK-OUT IS 10 A.M. MST.
We ask that you let us know your approximate check-in and check-out times in our contract (keeping in mind that check-in is after 4pm and check-out is by 10am). It is very helpful as the property is quite large and takes most of the day to prepare for your party and for our next guests. If you would like a late check-out, (from 10am up to 2pm) or an early check-in (from noon to 4pm) there will be a $100 extra staff cleaning charge. Please check with us to see if a late check-out is feasible.
2. This is a NON SMOKING unit. There will be a $200 minimum charge if the unit smells of smoke and/or cigarette/cigar remnants are found in or around the unit (including outside).
3. Pets are not permitted in the unit or in the Canyon Racquet Condo complex.
4. We do not rent to vacationing students or singles under 25 years of age
unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent.
The deposit automatically converts to a security/damage deposit upon arrival. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however is fully refundable within 48 hours after departure, provided the following provisions are met.
a. No damage is done to unit or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
b. No charges are incurred due to pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay.
c. All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in trash containers either in garage or in the dumpster located between J & D buildings, and soiled
dishes are placed in the dishwasher and started. One load of laundry is
started.
d. All keys are left on the kitchen table and unit is left locked.
e. (2) Garage door openers are placed on the kitchen table or in the bin provided in the garage.
f. No linens are lost or damaged.
g. No items have been removed from the property as a full digital inventory is completed after each stay. Furniture has been returned to original location.
Early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY- The maximum number of guests is limited to ten (10) persons.
NO DAILY MAID SERVICE - While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. A mid-week maid service is available for $100.00 (4 bedroom), $65 (2 bedroom).
WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS - Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.
Indemnification of Agent by Guest
Guest agrees to indemnify and save Agent, its employees and Agents, free and harmless from any claim or liability for any loss or damage whatsoever arising from, related to or in connection with rental of the vacation rental property, including but not limited to any claim or liability for personal injury or damage or loss of property which is made, incurred or sustained by any Guest or any Guest's invitee.

Lost and Found
Lock all doors when you leave your accommodations. Do not leave money or valuables unattended in the unit; the guest will be held accountable or liable for any thefts. Thoroughly check all drawers and closets before departing. Agent only returns left behind items upon request by UPS or US Postal Service at the Guests' expense.

Occupancy
Guest agrees not to exceed the maximum occupancy allowed by this property.

Beautiful place and couldn't be more convenient to all of the resorts. The hot tub is especially welcoming after a long day on the hill. Not too far from downtown and within a stones throw to some great restaurants. Jennifer is an exceptional hostess and makes you feel very welcome with some special touches inside the home. Very spacious and quiet neighborhood. Looking forward to staying here again.

Jennifer's condo was wonderful. The location was amazing. Close to all ski areas and airport. The condo was huge with so much space. The hot tub was clean and a great temperature. We will stay here again.

We used this for a business trip for a small group of our employees traveling for work. They loved the place and were able to get out to ski as well. We would certainly use this again!

We LOVED our time here (we kept repeating to ourselves how much we liked this house!)! We stayed here for 5 nights over NYE as part of a ski / snowboard trip and friends reunion. There were 6 adults, but it could comfortably sleep 8. A few things in particular that were awesome: 1. VERY close to Alta / Snowbird (max ~20 mins) & Jennifer helped us out with discounted ski passes! 2. Grocery store is ~2 mins away (liquor store is more like 10-15, however, so requires some planning) 3. The HOT TUB!!!!! We loved the hot tub, and used it every single day 4. Amazing and spacious common areas. We particularly liked the kitchen table and the common area. The TV is HUGE (we enjoyed some football watching) 5. Private bathrooms for each room is HUGE. Loved that convenience. 6. The beds were super comfy and overall, the house felt warm and welcoming! The only inconvenient thing was that we had to bring out the recycling, which was a little far away (~5 min walk). Not usually a big deal, but we just accumulated a lot over the 5 days! Thanks for an awesome visit - would highly recommend! :)

Nicole, Thanks so much for taking the time to write a review! It was a pleasure having your group stay with us. The large recycling container is on the other side of the 40 condo (10 building) (URL HIDDEN) is probably easier to take it out every few days or so (instead of hauling it all on the day you leave). Sorry it was inconvenient! I guess having well over a foot of fresh snow didn't help with the walk either

This was a fantastic place for our family Christmas week! Plenty of room and lots of fun. Convenient to skiing and other stuff. All features and amenities exactly as described. Jennifer was extremely accessible, responsive and attentive, yet completely unobtrusive. While we were out skiing her husband came and shoveled a foot and a half of snow out of the patio! Christmas decorations in the unit were lush and tasteful, and it had everything we needed for a fun an comfortable week-long stay with three teenagers. P.S. - Please ignore all of this so it doesn't get too booked up and we can stay here again... ;-) Thanks Jen - I look forward to staying with you again!

We have lived in Utah all our lives. We love the outdoors and love the SNOW! I have been involved in the vacation rental business for 20+ one time managing over 90 vacation rentals. Now having my own and managing two for friends I can provide the attention to detail I was unable to provide when handling so many.

Because of my affiliation in the outdoor sports industry I provide many special extras in our properties to make them more comfortable and of course, MORE FUN!!!
