Angielena'a place in Georgetown was lovely. The room was spacious, had its own personal window unit, and blinds for privacy. Good location and within walking distance to many restaurants / bars. I enjoyed my experience and would definitely stay there again

Angielena was a fantastic host! Through the interactions I've had with her, you can tell she really enjoys getting to know her guests and making then feel welcome at her bed and breakfast. She really is a very kind person! The location is about 20 minutes from downtown Seattle in a hip neighborhood. Bus line 124 is right outside the door and will drop you off in the middle of the city, just blocks from Pike Place Market and Belltown. A quick transfer from there will get you everywhere else you that you'll want to go. The room is exactly as advertised and the Barry White shower is as good as all the other reviews are saying. Plus, Angielena is readily available to address any accommodations you might need. I would absolutely recommend staying here to a friend and look forward to staying here on my next trip!

Lovely mix of very clean & charming guest rooms & artists' workshops. Area grows on you, especially at night with good bars and a superb Mexican close by. Great connection to downtown with bus stop right in front of the house.

Man, this place is killer! Firstly, you're not going to find a better value. Hotel/room stays in Seattle are $$$$, so I was shocked to the see the pricing for this listing. Especially since it's such a great location. Georgetown is a bit removed from downtown, but a short uber drive, or about 15 to 20 minutes of transit and you're in the heart of downtown. Georgetown is also a ton of fun, with lots of artsy, friendly shops and people and a fun night scene. The room was great--great size, had an ac/fan unit in the window to keep it from feeling stuffy, super clean, really well done. The building is old and oozes in charm. I was slightly concerned about noise--but it's super quiet. I stayed three nights and saw one other person and heard hardly anyone else. Also surprised that there was no noise from the happening bars downstairs. And flight traffic in the area was only vaguely noticeable. One of the quieter places i've stayed in in the city, including some of the fancier hotels downtown. Bed was a firm but comfortable memory foam. Room came equipped with a small vanity table that was perfect for both that use, but also for doing a bit of work as a desk. There was also a full size mirror in the room, always appreciated. Wi-Fi worked great. Guests have access to a SUPER nice bathroom. Show is amazing--just a really nice experience. There are also two other bathrooms to use should that one be occupied--as stated, I really didn't see anyone so I had zero issues using the bathroom when I needed/wanted to. Guests also have access to a great little kitchen (I was too busy and not there enough to take advantage, but i always love if there's at least a place to make coffee/tea--or if you are vacationing, reheating leftovers, etc), and laundry (again, didn't utilize, but it was offered, which was awesome). Again, want to stress the value. I was really stunned. It's rare to even get free wifi without having to join some membership club signing up with the hotel these days. And laundry service? Kitchen? That level of shower? No way. Last but not least--the host. Angielena was awesome. I was in a hurry and she read that and speed-walked me through in an awesome way. She is super friendly and down to earth and you can tell she loves what she's doing. She has great information on the building and neighborhood in a thoughtful packet for guests. She also was very flexible on when to check in--and it worked out perfectly. Will state--this is two flights of old (but easy) stairs--so while this location IS awesome it's not good for: People with mobility issues, especially stairs, people who don't want to share bathrooms, and folks not up for a slight adventure! :)

Angielena is lovely and very welcoming! She's helpful and communicative. Our room (the Bonjour room) was very clean and the bathroom was AMAZING (the bathroom and the balcony are down the hall). Other rooms are mainly artist studios so the atmosphere is very artsy! The bus stop is right on the other side of the street so it's very convenient and you can get to downtown Seattle in about 25 minutes.

Angielena is such a welcoming host! We loved staying in her beautiful room; the house itself is amazing, so individual and intricately designed. It makes so much sense as an artist's haven - the building is so inspiring. The bed in our room was lovely and comfortable, the kitchen was clean and well equipped, and the 'Barry White bathroom' truly is spectacular - who needs that many shower heads?!? Angielena is so thoughtful, providing everything you may have missed and considering the personal preferences of every guest as an individual. Georgetown is a small but beautifully formed little area: great bars, awesome food (tacos especially from the small bar at the end of the street) and really good coffee downstairs at The Conservatory. The 124 bus runs straight into downtown from just outside. We only had 2 small issues staying here: 1. The building is very warm, and as we visited during a heat wave it meant we were uncomfortably warm. Angielena provides very effective aircon in the room, but the machine is so noisy and the window didn't seem to open (although I must stress we didn't ask her about this and maybe it was just us) 2. The bar downstairs was pretty noisy at night for me; I have sensitive hearing and found that the music went on til about 2am which kept me awake. Again though this could just be me - my husband couldn't hear it. Overall, we loved staying here and would completely recommend it. Thank you so much for being so welcoming and lovely Angielena!

This is such a cute place, with so much history. We had a wonderful stay and the room had AC which was a blessing during the heat wave rocking the Seattle area.

I am a visual artist who is the director of a Non profit community Arts and Cultural Center. I'm a fairly warm person, i like to give hugs when needed (this includes you) spend time with friends and my dogs. The guest rooms are located in the Centers lovely 1904 building and we share the building with professional artist studios (mine included). The building is truly a vintage charmer and I have been doing the renovations myself. I think you will enjoy my handy work. Please note that the rooms are on the second floor and our space is in the city so its active and not always cricket quiet. I look forward to meeting you. I have two small calm Jack Russel's who may greet you but do'nt stay in the space at night. I enjoy animals, art, gardening and people.. .
This is not a hotel and I do not have staff so it is appreciated that you let me know your arrival time (as close as possible) and communicate this BEFORE your arrival as I arrange my day around meeting you. Late arrivals may be possible with prior arrangement and may be handled by our night manager Rick.
I am an easy going person but always try to keep our space mellow NO SMOKING IN BUILDING / NO VAPING/ NO POT …you can do all these things in our Smoking area outside. I am easily accessible if you need anything, I am happy to oblige most requests and strive to make every visitor a friend but I also will give you your space. I try to take Sundays off to rest and have time with my dogs.
I am also happy to help you plan a fun day here in Seattle. I even have a lonely planet guide to Seattle if you want to borrow it.
I cant wait to meet you!
