We called Perry upon our arrival near our rented flat to find out how to get the key since he did not answer our text message. He seemed rather surprised and a bit unhappy about us being 'all the way up there' because he was 'already at the restaurant' and told us to just come down to Pissouri beach. He did not want to come to us, so with no real idea where exactly said restaurant was, we had to drive down to the valley again and ask around to find it. We met Perry there and he said he would 'upgrade' us to a different place (something that judging from his other reviews seems to happen rather often).
Perry introduced us to one of his staff members who then showed us to a different apartment, located close to the restaurant (this apartment is also being advertised on his Airbnb as "Pissouri Beach Apartments - Studios"). The apartment itself was fine, the location nearby the beach was nice and we could hear the ocean from the room.
Nonetheless there were quite a lot of negative aspects. Many basic things were missing (cutlery (there were no forks and only one large spoon, two knifes and some random other things) hand soap, dishwashing liquid, sponges or dishclothes). The air condition worked but was heavily leaking water down the inside of one window (there were cables and a wifi repeater situated near that), we had to put towels underneath and couldn't use the air condition at all. The shower head was broken, the shower door was stuck. There was an annoying and loud beach party going on at the big hotel nearby. The only thing the apartment was not lacking was ants, we just saw a couple of them in the evening and didn't think much of it but in the morning they were all over the place (including bath room, bedroom, kitchen).
Overall this was not a good experience at all, we were glad that we only booked it for one night on our way further west. Would definitely not recommend.
