Thank you for your review. We are very sorry that you didn't feel perfect with us. As a super host we are always trying to do the best for our guests. This can be seen in the exclusively positive and 5 * reviews and the satisfaction of all of our guests in the separately offered rooms of this apartment. But as seen in your case, there can be special cases and exceptions.
You mentioned about a compromise which you offered. What I can remember (regarding your mediation request) you asked us to refund the complete amount for the entire stay of 3 weeks.
Your argumentation was that we need to do some urgent works in the bathrooms caused to a water damage. This works lasts just a few hours. We informed you about the works in the apartment and you and your friends agreed with them. Surely all of the facilities of the apartment where useable during the ongoing works and the bathrooms were cleaned up after them.
To clear up the situation about our refund request. We would never think about setting a refund request, if there is no reason for it. You forgot about the fact that you and 8 of your friends where using the apartment during your abroad studies in Vienna and have left the apartment in miserable conditions and with several damages like scratches on the wooden floor and the paintings and damages on the furnitures. At the moment we are solving the caused damages with the Airbnb host guarantee, and this would never be possible without authorisation by Airbnb.
To be honest it was a very bad experience with you as our guests.
