This listing is everything you see and so much more! The location is gorgeous, the house flawless in terms of coziness and Thanassis, Maria's friend and your host & more is the sweetest man. If you are looking for a pure greek mountain experience and are not willing to sacrifice comfort, look no further because this is it. I really could not think of any improvements needed. It simply reminded me of my childhood summers in Epirus. Thanks a lot to Maria for offering her beautiful home! Go make it yours and create your memories!

This a house on the top of hill in a small village. My family used it as a base to explore the Peloponnese [Olympia, Kalamata, etc.]. The view is gorgeous! I would definitely recommend this place if you want something different. This is someone's house and has personal feelings. Far better than the "professional Airbnb apartments" out there. Airbnb was invented for places like this.

We had a wonderful stay of four days in Maria's house. Maria had sent me so much information about the house, the surroundings, given valuable tips as where to buy the best food, places to visit, restaurants, hiking possilities etc.: we really appreciated this! Our communication with Maria was excellent and Tom, her neighbour and agent, welcomed us warmly and became our devoted guide: thank you very much Tom. We enjoyed sitting on the court yard watching the splendid view of the mountains by sunset or having our breakfast. With help from Tom we discovered a lovely chapel nearby in the woods on one of the trails. The house was well equiped and we enjoyed the beds and the marble bath. The Greek people we have met were incredible warm and hospitable and my opinion about the Greek food changed in a positive way. Thank you Maria!

Maria was a wonderful host. She sent us so much information including even researching the best travel cots for our baby! made us feel very welcome. The house is gorgeous, a really cosy family holiday home in a wonderfully peaceful place. We loved having meals under the vine looking at the amazing view. It's also a great base for lots of day trips like Mystras and Nafplion. There are also lots of interesting villages and nice walks in the forest surrounding the house. The only thing you might want to keep in mind is that although there are a few places in the area to get simple meals, this is basically a self catering choice. However there are several large supermarkets 15 mins drive away in Tripoli and the kitchen is well equipped. We had a lovely holiday here and would definitely recommend the house to anyone who wants a peaceful holiday in a beautiful place. Thanks Maria!
