When we arrived, we noticed the neighborhood was packed with rows of similar houses. You are in a subdivision. Walking up to the front door, we noticed that the outside section of the key lock (above the keypad) was laying on the ground outside, leaving a gaping hole in the door. You could tell it has clearly been glued on before and was no longer attached. Upon entry, the couch in the entryway living room was covered in food crumbs & debris + there was black tape covering damaged portions of the leather furniture. In the kitchen, there were are no k-cups provided as mentioned in the listing, but Phil, the property manager brought them by the next day when he came to fix the hole in the door. The coffee table in the main living room near the kitchen also had food crumbs left behind. The pool and spa were very dirty, but Phil also cleaned it when he brought the k-cups. We were sad to hear that the prior renter had destroyed the remote to the spa, which essentially rendered it useless. The owner told us of a control box on the side of the house, but Phil said not to touch it and that if we wanted to "heat" the spa/hot tub, it costed extra money. Around the pool, one of the latches to the doors on the left of the pool was broken/missing, but Phil fixed it while we cleaned up the left behind beer bottles/caps/wristbands/trash was left behind in the pool area. The alarms on the doors leading to the pool area were broken and unusable (concerning if you have children). The grill was left uncleaned with burned charcoal still in it, no biggie but I understood it was supposed be cleaned after use. Many of the remotes had dead batteries. Those were just main things we noticed walking through on the first day. The morning of the second day, we tried making biscuits and gravy. The oven worked for about 10 minutes and then the heating element shut off and the display flashed an error code. I used to search the error code and saw it was sensors. Phil came by the following day to replace the sensors, which he said had also had to be done before, but it did not solve the problem. This ruined our plans of shopping & cooking to save a little cost, as we certainly dined out more, but it's vacation, right? Overall, I certainly don't feel like I got what I paid for, as I was really looking forward to soaking in the hot tub after walking the theme parks each day. It was one of the main selling features, but a big let down. The house was accommodating, but definitely needs fixed up a little bit and that the management is properly cleaning and taking care of the home.
