Relax at our cute 2 Bed, 2 Bath Jasmin Cottage, with its colonial style veranda and colourfully decorated rooms. It is perfect for a family of 4 . Positioned across the road from Kabalana beach and "The Rock" which has the best A frame surf break.

I love to sit on the daybed outside on our veranda and watch the birds in the garden and the palm trees swaying in the wind. Our cottage is across the road from the famous surf beach called The Rock, we have 2 body boards you can use during your stay. The cottage is kid friendly and there are painting things and the garden for kids to play ball or badminton in. My friend brings her 3 year old and we go to the beach in the morning, he plays with his toys in the sand outside Cafe Ceylon house, draws or plays ball.
The cottage has its own internet service.
Check in is after 2pm and check out is 11am. This is now strict to allow for us to clean the house for new arrivals. If you want to check out late please inform me. If not there maybe an extra charge.
There is an amazing wild seafood fusion restaurant and the Australian Chef is my husband.
We provide you with coffee, tea, things in the fridge like jam and butter. You can make your own breakfast or go over to Café Ceylon and buy breakfast. This price goes from $3 to $8 per person.
My husband will be there to greet you and do the check in. We provide you with a towel, bed sheets and pillow cases. If you want them changed please leave them on the floor and the maid will change them, if not your bed linen will be changed when you check out or every 4 days. Please bring a beach towel if you want one.
The cottage is easy to find as it is between 133km and 134km Galle Rd. The beach opposite the cottage is lovely for body boarding, learning to surf and serious surfing. As I mentioned before you are really lucky to have Cafe Ceylon on your doorstep for delicious, fresh wild seafood, oysters, lobster prawns and lagoon crabs all fresh from Koggola lake.
Jasmine Cottage is 10mins away from the nearest railway station Habaraduwa and 30mins from Galle Fort and Town. Galle Fort is 16th century Dutch Fort.
Please note there are occasional power cuts made by the electricity board which we have no control over. The mains water gets cut mid morning everyday (not sure why?). We have a water tank so you will still have water but the showers mid morning until around 3pm will be slow as will the water in the kitchen tap and sinks. Please be patient and remember you are in a developing country.
There is a little local train which runs at the back of the cottage, there is a train every hour. The last train is around 7.30pm and the train stops at night. I sleep like a log in Jasmine Cottage and this sound does not bother me, but if you think you will be disturbed by the noise please do not book our cottage.
Accès des voyageurs
You will have access to either the whole cottage and garden, which includes your bedroom and bathroom, a lounge, kitchen and outside eating area/veranda.
