Dear Roel. We are sorry to have these complaints about our home. Although we understand your comments, we do not agree with you, as we did everything possible (as we do with all our guests) for you to have a pleasant stay and feel like home. As the section of Bacalar’s downtown where our home is located ran out of water for days (please note that Bacalar is still an emerging town with a developing infrastructure), which also affected our water tanks’ supplies, we rented a whole brand new studio apartment for one night for you and your family so you could cover all your water-related needs; besides, we offered you to rent the other available studio for that night so neither you or your relatives had to be moving from our home to the studio, all this was at our cost. By the other hand, in the profile of our home the photos and the description are real and there you can appreciate the details; for example, it is specified that 2 double size beds and a double sofa bed are provided. However, expecting to give you an extraordinary customer service, again we rented, by our cost, an inflatable mattress for you. So, a compensation has been already made. In response for some of your additional comments: our home is very clean and was fumigated less than a month ago, it has enough chairs: 6 for the dinning room, 2 per bedroom and 4 for the garden, it has courtains in the 2 bedrooms, in the living room and in the dinning room and is located downtown close the 7 Colours Lagoon.
