I have a very nice flat with 3 bathrms/3 bedrms and I only use 1 of each. The rest up for rent for you!
Set in a quiet residential area 5min to center with 2 balconies and trees all around
There's all you need in this flat
Hope to welcome you soon!
Trees all around
1 room with king bed which is used when there are 2 guests
1 room (on the pic) with smaller bed when there is 1 guest
Each room is up for rent individually ( so double price if 2 room - in that case price is negotiable)
Fits 3 comfortably in total
The flat is neat tidy, more cosy and warm, wood atmosphere. I tend not to feel at home with white and grey modern furniture.
The flat is extremely bright and spacious which is what most guests like about it. There are 2 big balconies on each side, which is great to keep the air nice and fresh.
There is a big park close by. One thing I like best is the trees all around. You wake up and the 1st thing you see is trees, a blue sky on the good days, and you might hear or see the squirrels playing in there if you're lucky.
Access is also a great thing. The flat is just on the limit residential / city center. So it's safe, peaceful green. And the center is just 5 mins away!
The guests will have full privacy in their bedroom(s), same as for their shower room and toilet room. In return, I will keep my privacy in my own bedroom and bathroom. These areas are private and not shared as much as for the guests as for myself.
The rest of the flat is shared. Hallways, kitchen, balcony, dinning room and sitting room. I expect guest to feel at home and use and respect these areas as their own. The kitchen is fully equipped, just missing a coffee machine. And there are 2 launry drier machines down on the ground floor that are shared but secured if you need it
The guest is king, not me
I work a lot during the week and weekends I am usually in and out all day.
If you want to chat, I will chat (if I'm there)
If you want to be left alone, I will leave you alone.
We all have our ways of working
Quiet, pretty, safe, green (summer), nice neighbors (most)
Close to everything and not in town center (buildings)
The grocerie stores are 5-10 min walk
Getting to the flat
From airport - jump on bus 5 at the airport door. 45min ride. Jump off a stop called Rieu. Stay on that same side of the main road and walk uphill approx 150 meters to a pedestrian crossing. Cross the road. The building is right there, the orang-yellowy one.
From the train station. Jump on bus 25 at the train station exit - direction Thonex Vallard (not the one going to the airport). 16 min ride. Jump off at Rieu stop. The rest is the same as the above when coming from the airport.
Getting around. Bus 5 will bring you staight to the center in 4 mins. Go down at Museum and its a 5min walk to the lake, shopping area, old town
Public transport is great here, buses and trams are always on time and transit frequently to all the areas you wish to visit
If coming by car, there is plenty visitors spaces infront of the door. It's usualy half empty during the day but then get?s quickly crowded around 6pm when everyone is back from work. It is safe. We have been leaving our cars in this area for 30 yrs and nothing ever happens ... cannot guarentee anything about bird droppings though.
