Hi Nelson, I just feel the need to respond to your review as there is many inaccuracies. The accusation of bed bugs is entirely FALSE. Our bedding is changed after every guest stay. The actual mattress is also changed every two-three months. If there was an actual bed bug issue, I am sure you would have mentioned this in the first few nights of your 7 day stay and left early. I know for a fact if I were staying somewhere that had bed bugs, I would have left right away. The fact that you completed your entire stay, with no mention of this (text messages between us as proof) means you are just lying for the sake of lying. So, I feel that this accusation is extremely false and defamatory. In regards to the internet, the interruptions was not an excuse. I cannot manually slow down the internet for a specific portion of my house. That is quite impossible technologically. We actually did recently change our internet provider, as of Monday, because the wifi interruptions that you were facing was also faced by us, upstairs. In regards to the contractors, I apologized to you beforehand and made you aware that they were coming in to clean up the backyard for the airbnb units in the basement. When I messaged you in regards to the contractors and apologized ahead of time, no response from you was received indicating that this would NOT be okay. If you indicated at any point that this was an inconvenience I would have tried and made other arrangements. I find it quite odd that all your complaints, with the exception of WiFi issues, are coming after the fact. It was not done intentionally, it was a system provider issue. Nonetheless, I was actually quite nice with my rating to you despite the condition in which you left my basement unit. There were used/dirty Kleenex/tissues, pictures of which I took, left all over the unit floor. You actually have the audacity to mention that you left my unit a mess on purpose because you were not happy with the experience. That is quite immature and childish. You are probably the worst guest we have encountered. The fact that you lied about bed bugs to defame my airbnb listing and also left the place a mess on purpose - speaks more about you as a guest than me as a host. I have done my best during your entire stay to inform you about everything and also meet all your needs. I have multiple guests leaving me great reviews, as such, your lies are not bothersome to me. I am confident about my listing and the experience I provide.
