Spring is here! The lotus is located in the Pacific Northwest. If you choose to reserve during fall, winter and spring you have a good chance of being embraced by rain, snow and cold (sometimes below freezing) temperatures.

There is a small space heater in the lotus, but you will essentially be sleeping outside, on a comfy feather bed with a down comforter and some shelter from the elements. Adventurous spirits are welcome during all seasons.

The summer is great for the tipi, but can be too hot for some during the day. It cools off well at night, just be aware that this is prime time for insects to also visit the tipi. We do our best to control their presence, but can't guarantee they won't be seeking refuge inside the space as well.

Set on an organic farm you get to view beautiful sunsets in the evening and great exploration possibilities are available on the property!

Since we are located on an organic farm, we do not use pesticides. You will most likely have insects visiting you in the lotus. There are mosquito screens, zippered doors and a waterproof floor, but insects can still find ways to creep in ;)

This isn't a problem for most guests, but keep it in mind when booking as we don't refund for insect issues or undesirable weather conditions during your stay.

Accès des voyageurs

The Farm, outside kitchen area, electricity, water, fresh towels, inside bathroom.

Guests are also welcome to interact with our goats, rabbits and chickens and visit with the ducks at the pond. Eggs, raw goat milk and produce from our gardens are available to purchase at a discounted rate for our guests. Just ask.

We are working on a solar shower and composting toilet bathroom for guests to have private bathroom access. The current bathroom is shared with two other AirBnB spaces on the farm, so please be respectful of the communal space.

Échanges avec les voyageurs

We interact as much as folks want. Sometimes we give a tour and just let you enjoy your stay. Other times, we'll find ourselves sitting around the campfire, enjoying the sunsets or meteor showers with our guests.

Our children love to "host" our guests children and show them around the farm. We have bikes and scooters to share as well.

Basically the golden rule applies here... But noise levels after ten have to be at a minimum unless otherwise arranged.
Well behaved, family friendly and socialized dogs are welcome. They must be on leash during the day unless they have experience being around/not chasing livestock. Off leash is okay after dark as the chickens are typically safe in their coop for the night at that time. Please include information about your dog with you when requesting to book.

The great, the good, the not so good, and the unpleasant in that order: The view and the hospitality of the hosts was incredible. They were very accommodating with requests and even offered to build us a bonfire. The tipi itself was adorable and the furnishings inside were both aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. The not so good was the lack of cleanliness in the home where the shared bathroom was located. What compromised the comfort of our stay at TipiBelle was the infestation of earwigs and spiders in the tent.

The tipi was fantastic! We had easy access to a bathroom and an outdoor kitchen area, readily stocked with everything we needed. The fields were crowned with great rolling hills, and I loved hanging out with the dogs, songbirds, chickens, goats, and turkeys. It's a great value for the price.

This place is wonderful. Set on a bucolic farm, you can watch the sunset over the pastures from your very own fire pit. We loved the beautiful tent, the beds were comfortable and the shared bathroom, no problem. If you love the outdoors and are looking for a camping experience with a little more convenience, stay here! The hosts were also extremely warm and welcoming to our family. Highly recommended.

DO IT! This was such an adventurous stay and I would highly recommend you trying it out for yourself. The tent was easy to find and offered great sunrise/sunsets views. The space was private, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom and kitchen space is tiny and shared, but will do for a night or two. The hosts were very amazing, made sure to check in with us throughout our visit, AND even set up a bonfire for us after a long night. I will definitely stay again (:
