The apartment was great and really close to the main attractions of Istanbul. Most importantly, the area is very easy to travel and public transportation is right down the road. I definitely recommend this accommodation.

Ideal home for families and friends. Clean and functional. Very close to all public transport and attractions. The owner of the house (Ali) was welcoming, smiling and always willing to offer his knowledge and help to make our stay and our tour of the city easy and fun. I would like to thank Ali for these beautiful and enjoyable days we spent with him at his apartment and hope to be able soon to visit him again. We highly recommend the residence!

Great allround support from the beginning! Fast and easy booking of rooms , airport pick-up service and warm welcome even late at night :) Clean, large rooms and bathroom. The apartment is located in a quiet residential area where you feel comfortable and safe and can escape the tourists sometimes . Tram and metro to the historic center around the corner. Ali had always had an open ear and good ( secret ) tips for our 4 -man squad inclusive a joint trip to Hamam! Those who want to refresh their knowledge of history and Turkey, is right here!

Good choise! Nice small clean room. Ali is lovely, we feel sorry we didn't spend more time with him. We stayed 3 nights and we were only in the house to sleep. The neighbourhood is relaxed for a goodmorning cay, before diving in the hectic touristcentre. Busstop really 2 minutes walk. We saw Ali guiding a group in the ayasofia and think he is one of the best! We love Istanbul and hope to come back soon.

My friend and me stayed in Ali’s apartment for one night and our time there was great. The whole apartment and our room were clean, cozy and comfortable. It has Turkish decoration so we felt the Turkish experience all the time. The location is very convenient as it is in Askaray, so we took the Metro from the airport, got off in askaray station and walked about 5 minutes to the apartment. The area is close to the Airport and to the Eslender terminal by Metro. It is also close to Sultanahmet so you can get the Blue Mosque and all the historical attractions in 30 minutes walking or about 5 minutes by Tram 1; Tram station is like two blocks far. We had very good communication with Ali before our arrival. He was not there during our stay because he had a trip, but his roommate Ercan was in charge and took care of us. Ercan was responsible and really helpful and friendly, he gave to us many information about things to do and places to go in Istambul and Turkey. Even he took us to a place where to have a delicious Turkish dinner and then to the main historical places of Sultanhamet as we only had one day to know the city. Thanks Ercan!! We would stay again when we go back and strongly recommend Ali’s room and apartment.

Fantastic location with easy access to transport. Аli was a very good host. He gave us lots of good information. The apartment is clean and comfortable.

We liked the place ! It's very central in the historical district. A very good place to explore the city for the first time. Ali was a funny and paternal host, very interesting. He guided us in the city and had always many stories to tell...

Welcome to Turkey – Ancient Anatolia
My name is Ali and I’m from Istanbul, Turkey. I grew up in a south town – Adana. I studied tourism & history at Cappadocia University. I first traveled to Bodrum on my own to live for the summer when I was 16 years old. From that point forward I have been a bit “travel-obsessed” and have never been able to stay home for long.
I am now 34 years old, and a full time tour guide & travel photographer. I worked as a Travel Agency Manager for a few years, but it wasn’t something that I had a passion for. Now I am back to my trips all around Turkey.
I tend to travel to places that are geologically & archaeologically unique, so I can look over rock formations and historic ruins. I choose places that are going to provide adventure and adrenaline, and if they might not be known for that–I seek it out.
I’m more than happy to talk with any of my visitors about any site of Turkey. “Follow the Rhythm, Enjoy Turkey “
