Bay Leaf Cottage offers a pretty single room and nice shared bath/shower in my home tucked away in one of Lyme's oldest streets and just a one minute walk to the sea, museum, theatre, shops and bus stop. There is a renowned bakery/cafe opposite for breakfast and a small, award-winning vegetarian restaurant only footsteps away. It is very easy arriving by bus from the railway station, as the bus meets most trains (see directions in this listing).
Bay Leaf Cottage is an old stone house in an historic, quiet street close to the heart of Lyme. There are several good cafes, restaurants and galleries in the same street or very nearby. The single room is up two carpeted flights of stairs with a very comfortable bed and a modern shared bathroom (I am very tidy!) on the floor below.
Accès des voyageurs
Guests will use my front door onto the narrow (one-way) street just a pebbles' throw from the beach, museum, town hall, theatre and many amenities.
Échanges avec les voyageurs
My kitchen and sitting-room are on the ground floor and I am generally around apart from the 2 days I am at work (when I am on my mobile) to answer any queries you may have. You are very welcome to sit in my small, sunny courtyard in the summer.
Sorry, but it's not suitable for animals.
This accommodation would be perfect for single female travellers looking for an interesting, friendly base from which to explore beautiful Dorset and South West England.
