Guests are welcome to go for a walk on the farm and go down to the creek. When the chooks are laying guests can collect eggs for themselves and there is a big old tyre swing that can be used too. The pool area is the host's personal space and not available to guests.

I enjoy and welcome interaction with our guests if they come over to our house, otherwise we totally respect their space and leave them to enjoy their surroundings and peace and quiet. We are usually around most of the time and may duck out from time to time.
My wish is that guests feel like they are truly welcome and as comfortable as they are at home.
In the pantry I have made up a first aid kit that includes items such as a hot water bottle, deep heat, strepsils, bandaids etc.... so that you have access to all those little things that you have at home and you don't have to race out to the shops. There is also a porta cot that is available for use.
As we are a family I expect guests to respect and consider that and keep noise outside down after midnight. We don't allow pets as we are a working farm and guests are welcome to smoke outside but not inside the cottage.

I am very family orientated, my family comes first in everything and I basically just love people. I enjoy meeting people and hearing their stories and where they have come from and the journeys they are on. I can learn so much from people and that's why when I have time I love reading autobiographies and biographies, it opens up my world that bit more. I love living on the land and getting my hands dirty and I love cooking, bike-riding and renovating old furniture. In the last 5 years we have travelled to Thailand as a family and stayed on 'out of the way' Islands and it is my favourite place in the whole world. I love my country and I am very proud of it so for me hosting guests whether they are from Melbourne or Malaysia means that I can share our beautiful place with them and they can have the country experience without the huge price tag attached. My life motto I think would have to be "Don't take life too seriously as no-one gets out alive" .
