Unfortunately, on rare occasion, an individual such as this crosses the threshold. It was apparent upon their arrival, and following the receipt of the review, that this individual did not spend much time on the listing for the house. I arrived home ~20 minutes before their arrival to greet rhem. It was in the 50s on this day, and did not have the heat blasting when not at home. This individual requested the heat to be turned up within minutes of arriving, which was immediately turned to 78 degrees. A extra comforter was given when requested. Also, after being in the home only a few minutes, "So where can we go in the house", which clearly is stated in the listing that quests have access to the entire house, both inside, and out. Then, this individual comments that there is not a television in the bedroom, which is clearly indicated in both text and images on the listing, as are multiple images of the "sterile" bedroom. Furthermore, it is stated in the listing that I, when home, give the guests as much privacy as possible, but available upon request. The entire house is cleaned prior to a guest's arrival. This is the first individual that requested to watch television. At the time of their arrival, I was caring for my terminally ill dog, who has since passed, allowing her on the couch in the television room, not anticipating that I would have to have the couch cleaned when none of the 70+ guests have used it. The criticism of the entire basement being "hairy" is inaccurate, this is not where the dogs are kept, this is where they predominately stay when there are guests. This individual stating that I "disappeared", when I was available, in seconds, when needed. I have had guests that I have interacted with, had drinks with on the deck, and gone to dinner with during their stay. This, unfortunately, is not that individual that I would do this with. I, taking the higher road, did not leave a review for this individual, but, I suppose, this will suffice. It is individuals such as this that make what has been, overall, a very enjoyable experience, a real drag. Sometimes, you host bitter and unfriendly people, and, despite your efforts, they are unhappy.
