OK, I am going to try and take the "High road" here. Firstly I want to address Stephen's statement about the shower. It is CLEARLY listed twice in my "Rules" section that the shower is inside the house and requires a cleaning fee of $10.00 for a clients ENTIRE stay. Now lets talk about the refrigerator! I knew Stephen was staying here for 11 days and I ASKED HIM if he would like a small refrigerator in the room for his comfort and he said he would like it, so though he "didn't ask me" for it, I offered it and he wanted it. I did tell him to turn off his lights when he left the room as he would be gone ALL DAY and the outside light was left on, and the bathroom light was also left on, which I could see from outside the room and I POLITELY asked him to turn them off when he left. I am big on what kind of a "carbon footprint" I leave, as I am a licensed nurse, it had nothing to do with money when I told him to turn off the lights when he left! Now, the day he speaks of when he was going to his car and I asked to speak to him, he said very abruptly "NO!! No!" jumped in his car and left. If he was a better communicator he would have learned that I was trying to give him a change of sheets for his bed! I ended up leaving the sheets at his door which he never used for the 11 days he was here. At that time I called Airb&b and told them that something was wrong with Stephen and I was afraid of a problem in the remaining 8 days he would be here. I was advised to avoid him and I DID send him a message through Airb&b telling him he was rude and I would not be speaking to him again.
Now, I see he wrote about me being in my bathrobe on the pourch one night when he came back. I was not "waiting" for him, I was on my porch having a cigarette as I do not smoke often and do not smoke in the house! Duh! Also, when I come home at night I shower and change into my bathrobe. The fact the Stephen would think something strange about that is only a comment on Stephen's perceptions. It was not like I was naked beneath the robe or had the robe open at all because then of course, I would have been a little "creeped out" also! LOL.
Lastly, I would like to address the accusation that I was "intrusive". My reviews speak for themselves! If you are going to be here for 11 days there are times when we are going to have to communicate as I do not run a Tibetan monastery or a library where SILENCE is required. At least I communicated with him when I had something to say, Stephen's problem is that he cannot say what he wants to say to ones face, misunderstands ones intentions, and would rather put a knife in ones back after he leaves. Sorry Stephen, at one point I was going to tell you not to come back, but on the other hand, I invite you to come back again for two free nights, be a better communicator, and we can put this unpleasantness behind us, Amen!
