À propos de ce logement
We are a food writer and a music writer who love Dublin. Our house is in a lovely quiet area is a 25 minute walk to the city centre. There is free on-street parking outside. We are a 3 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, which will take you to the city centre in 10 minutes. Guinness Storehouse is a 13 minute walk away and St Patrick's Cathedral is a 5 minute walk away. Our dog Daffodil loves visitors too - except for cats.
Our house is a red-brick terraced house with a small backyard. Your Double Room is upstairs, and features a comfy double bed and an original fireplace. It's warm and bright, and the bed is topped with a soft, squidgy duvet and blanket. We'll provide clean towels and a hairdryer for you, too. The bathroom, which you will share with us, is downstairs.
Our room is next door to yours, and Niall's office is also upstairs. Our kitchen is the centre of our house, with a long dining table, fridge and oven. You are more than welcome to use our kitchen during your stay. There are original wooden floorboards throughout the house, apart from in the bathroom, which has a bath and shower.

We'll settle you into your room and give you your own set of keys. We'll set you up with tips on where to go, what to see, what to eat and what to drink. We will leave you to do your own thing but if you have any questions, we'll be there to help you out.
You can use our fridge to store any goodies you pick up at our local food markets. We have a coffee grinder that's usually busy blitzing up locally roasted coffee beans and we never run out of Barry's Tea. If you're thirsty, we'll make you a cuppa, or you can help yourselves. We always offer a light breakfast of fruit, yogurt, toast and locally roasted coffee but we are also happy to give you recommendations for great breakfasts in nearby cafés.
We share our house with our small terrier Daffodil The Dog. She isn't allowed into your room, unless you invite her in for a cuddle - she'd love that.
We both work from home. This means we are flexible and happy to help give you advice on your trip, but it also means that we need to focus between the hours of 9am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. You are very welcome to hang out in the house during these hours but we ask that you respect that it's a working space, too.
