My cozy apartment is conveniently located in Grünerløkka, a trendy and vibrant neighborhood in Oslo. Easy access to public transport, popular sights and other necessities. I gladly offer a fold up bed in my living room, and my local expertise :) Welcome!

If you're ok with sleeping on a spare bed in my living room, then this is a great and well equipped place to stay, and a good base for exploring Oslo. If you're two, I can fit in an extra mattress as well.

Living room, kitchen, and toilet will be accessible for guests. The bathroom is located behind my bedroom, but that has never been a problem - we will just make a plan :) All areas will be shared with me, but I always try my best to accommodate my guest's need for privacy.

I work shifts in a store, so I either have mornings off or evenings off. I would love to share meals, hang out and show you around the city.

Grünerløkka is the hipster neighborhood in Oslo, compared by Lonely Planet to Williamsburg in New York. Everything you need is in immediate proximity. Dozens of small shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, plus a few parks and a cinema. And it's easy to get to and from the city centre.

Just 10 minutes by public transport from Oslo Central Station (where the airport express train stops). Take tram 11, 12 or 13 to Biermanns gate, buss 21 to Christies gate/Fagerheimgata (depending on which direction you come from) or buss 30 to Lilleborg kirke. Minimum six departures per hour. It's also easy to get around by bike, and from April to end of November you can rent city bikes. There's free street parking in the area, but it can be difficult to find an open spot.

It was a comfortable stay! Martine gave me direction to her place, so it's really easy to get. The house was super clean and cute. She respects guest's privacy and also she's very easy to talk to. Everythings were just perfect. Thanks Martine!

Martine was a lovely host. She provided derailed direction from the airport to her place, it was very thoughtful. It saved me a lot of time to find the place. Her place was absolutely lovely!! Very clean and cozy just like home ! The location of Martine's place was also very convenient, you can reach anywhere by tram and bus. Thank you !!

I had the best time with Martine, she was so welcoming and helped me find my way around Oslo and answered all my questions. The apartment was beautiful, and cosy and she was more than willing to help me with anything I wanted to know or do in Oslo. I would thoroughly recommend staying here, as it is in a brilliant location and there is so much to do around Oslo. Thank you Martine!

U Martine jsem se cítila velice dobře, vše mi bylo k dispozici. Večer po mém příjezdu mi řekla, kde co je. Doporučila nějaké památky k návštěvě, dala doporučení pro návštěvu některých restaurací....

A wonderful visit to Oslo, and a wonderful host! Start to finish, everything was comfortable. Martine provided incredibly detailed directions for how to reach her from the airport using trams which made getting in very simple-- her apartment is located really well within the city, very close to all of the bars and food of Grunerlokka, and if you enjoy walking a bit, you'll be able to get to just about everything in Oslo from Martine's apartment. Martine also made time to show me around-- we went out for a great dinner and it was fun getting to know her a bit. The room itself is charming, Martine's description is exactly accurate in that it is a living room and not a bedroom, but there's a bed set up in the room which is quite comfortable, there's a surprising amount of room to spread out, and Martine very generously works to make the space feel private. Stay with Martine-- I'm positive it'll be a great visit to Oslo!

the flat is well located and has very good travel connections (bus/tram) for discovering Oslo and the surrounding region (i recomment the "oslo ticket" (includes bus/tram/ship and a lot of museums) or a normal week ticket for the public transport). /// martine was a very nice host. when i arrived she gave me a lot of advices and recommendings for my stay ... so i was optimally prepaired for my short oslo visit. she is a well travelled person. it was very interesting to talk to her about journeys around the world, travelling plans, . .. /// the bed was a cod. i think the mattress was much too soft. i can't recommend it for people who have problems with their back. but for me it was okay. the flat was small but very nice// i can recommend a stay at martine

Thank you for your feedback, Nicole. I have intended to replace the bed for a long time, and I just ordered a new one with wooden slats for better support. So if you should ever come back to Oslo, you're welcome to stay with me again, and hopefully you'll be more comfortable :)

Martine was a great host, who welcomed me at the first evening and even showed me a bit around in Oslo. Her place was very clean and comfortable. She told me to feel like home and I did so. Her flat is near three different tramways, which all go to the city centre, but Martine also let me use her city bike account, what was pretty nice to discover Oslo with. I would definitely recommend her and book there again, if I come to Oslo again.
