We are a young married couple living in the most sought-after neighborhood in NYC. This is our home but we love to share it when we're away. Walk outside and you'll find Washington Square Park, Union Square, and plenty of world-class restaurants!

Overall, the trip was a really great experience. Idan was proactive and helpful and good at communicating. He was out of town when I arrived but left the keys with a friend who met me minutes after I got there which all went very smoothly. Idan left helpful details on how to work the tv, internet passwords, and simple rules for the home, like where to toss the trash and where the extra linens were. The apartment was comfy, and I felt safe staying there. It has a locked building entrance to the lobby, and a double locked door. The bed was really comfy, there was a nice big tv, full size fridge, large microwave, dishwasher, and oven. Idan was nice enough to offer me anything I'd like from the fridge, which had some tasty beer that I hope I can find here at home. There's two ACs that are window units but are temperature controlled so it was easy to dial in my desired comfort level. They even came with remotes so you didn't have to get out of bed to change it. The ac was a bit noisy, but I became used to it pretty quickly. Most people might not notice as Im spoiled by a very quiet home in the burbs. Knowing this, i asked Idan before I agreed to rent the apartment if it was the apartment was noisy being well aware that in NYC you should not expect silence. However, just as he said, if the windows are closed it was surprisingly quiet. I often had the windows open to enjoy the vibrant sounds of the city. The area was near perfect. Grenich, shopping on 5th ave, amazing rooftop bars in the meat packing district, flat iron building, empire state, and one world trade are all just blocks away. An amazing Italian restaurant is one block away, and the great french restaurant is in the same building. Grocery and drug stores are right on the same block. Just loved the location! The only issues I had about the place was when the sun came up it wasn't possible to darken the bedroom as the blinds, though good for privacy were completely translucent, so I struggled to sleep in such a bright bedroom. One smaller concern is the apartment is very "lived in" and stuffed with personal items, so i wasn't able to unpack. There was enough room to hang about five shirts and a sport coat in the closet, but that was it. No drawers or shelves were available, so be prepared to live out of your suitcase. Even with these fairly minor issues, I would still gladly rent Idan's apartment again. Nice and quiet, awesome area, nicely laid out space, and a very helpful owner helped to make my trip to NYC an amazing vacation!
