À propos de ce logement
Car friendly, quiet street. The house is warm and cosy in winter as it's heated throughout. Sunny front patio and back garden with herbs and vegetables growing, a peaceful haven, minutes from all the excitement of the city, Newtown, Leichhardt and Marrickville arts and entertainment areas.
The house is warm and cosy in winter, yet pleasant and cool in summer as it has both a heating and cooling system throughout. The guest room is quite big, with a king size super comfy bed for one person or a couple, a desk, robe and bookcase. The mattress is handmade from natural latex, coconut fibre and Australian wool and comes from the Natural Bedding Company right here in Stanmore. I am a homeopath. I'm interested in healthy food so I make my own kefir, sauerkraut and kombucha and I like listening to music as I go about my day so hopefully the house is full of good bugs and good vibes.

This is a well established home so pretty much what you would expect in terms of conveniences. All your linen is provided. Shared bathroom. Some 'amenities' are missing such as no microwave, household chemicals, perfumed products and tv news bulletins. One room of the house is set aside as my homeopathy clinic where I see my patients on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and Saturdays. For this reason most of my guests are travelers, holidaymakers or seminar attendees who have daytime activities compatible with my work hours and who return home for the evening or a restful sleep.

I enjoy sharing my home with lovely folk from all over the world, hearing about their lives and their bit of the world that they bring into my life. The location here is superb and people want to make the most of their time in Sydney so the interactions we share can be a small yet colourful part of that. I enjoy being social and I also enjoy my own company. I work with people in my profession as a homeopath and I have adult sons and an extended family. I also teach and belong to several groups.
Holidaying with the locals is different and fun but we have daytime work and need our sleep so quiet time after 10 pm and lights out after 10.30 pm please. It's fine to stay out late so long as you come home quietly and go to sleep without disturbing the household. If your schedule around the home is to stay up until 11 pm, 12 pm and 1 am every night then it's best you stay somewhere else!
I'm a homeopath which is probably a good profession for me as it requires empathy, and is both a science and an art. I enjoy nature and can be contemplative. I like warm sunny days and to be outside, gardening or swimming in the ocean. I love to see my friends. This year I'm learning to play drums. I particularly enjoy the sayings of Marcus Aurelius.
