This one-bedroom guest house is located on a quiet, dead-end street behind the owners' 1920s home in Ormewood Park. The Wagewood is minutes away from Interstate 20 as well as the hip nightlife and bars of East Atlanta, along with green Grant Park.
If you're looking for Great Gatsby couture, you'll be disappointed; the Wagewood is kitschy and quaint while also private, spacious, and clean.
The Wagewood includes free, secluded parking; a bedroom with decent closet space, a small couch, and a full-size bed that sleeps two; a bathroom with a generously sized shower; a living room with a desk, large couch on which you can sprawl (or snooze), chair, smart TV with cable and Netflix capabilities, and DVD player; a kitchen with basic cooking equipment, a gas stove, and a full-size refrigerator; a sunny dining area with a table and four chairs; a private laundry area equipped with a washer and dryer; and a large deck with tree-filled views. Not to mention high-speed wireless Internet!
Accès des voyageurs
Guests have access to everything in the house, including the coffee, microwave, toaster, cookware, silverware, and myriad kitchen equipment; basic toiletries such as toilet paper and hand soap; laundry supplies; and any other goodies you find.

My husband and I are pretty quiet and keep to ourselves, so even though the Wagewood is on the property where we reside, we won't be all up in your business. However, if you need anything, with one quick message via the handy AirBnB mobile app, I will appear and accommodate your request with efficiency.
Did we mention that the windows let in plenty of natural sunlight? It's important to get enough vitamin D.
"It looks so much better in person!!"
"This is way bigger than I expected."
"The deck feels so peaceful and quiet."
Please park on the parking pad to the left of the cottage and pull all the way forward. That way my husband and I won't get blocked in.
If you have a guest or bring an additional car, please park it in front of our house on one of the parking pads. There isn't enough room for two cars to park to the left of the cottage without blocking in our cars.
I work full-time as a Web editor, and write and perform at literary events in my spare time. Other than writing and staying fit, I like to partake in the simple yet fulfilling joys that life has to offer, such as: spending time with quality friends as well as my dear family, watching Gilmore Girls on Netflix, eating ice cream, reading, and maintaining my yard. As of late I've become a total plant freak, and you'll probably find me contorted in seemingly uncomfortable positions over a bale of pine straw.
My husband Ryan shares the above sentiments, except replace the writing with playing in his band Spines and the simple yet fulfilling joys with playing soccer on his iPhone.
Also of note: we adore our cat-children!
