Stay in old-Copenhagen style at this wonderful apartment, with all the charm of Danish design and all the luxuries of home.
Right in the heart of the City Center, King Size Bed, Rainfall Shower, Modern Kitchen, Sunny Terrace, 350 meters to Metro, 14 minutes to Airport, Bike Rental Downstairs, Market Hall around the corner.
Modernized Old-World Charm & Style - This spacious 80-square meter apartment is a recently refurbished historic Copenhagen flat with re-painted walls and re-finished original hardwood floors throughout. Furniture includes danish design classics both new and old, as well as personal creations. The building dates back to 1879 and the apartment is situated on the second floor off the ground with wonderful sun light on the street side and a quiet, leafy courtyard on the bedroom side. The apartment has thermo-glazed windows for zero sound, hard wood floors with several rugs, and excellent heating throughout. There is a large king-sized double bed with a fantastic bottom/top mattress combination for an excellent night's sleep. Danish design chairs and lamps dot the living and dining rooms, while a designer couch and rug sits opposite the vintage TV and sun drenched windows.
NEW! A private terrace has just been added to the apartment in 2016, giving you your own outdoor space to sip coffee in the morning, read in the afternoon sun, or enjoy dinner outside. The terrace is accessible from the kitchen.
MODERN FACILITIES - The bathroom and kitchen are both large and modern with every essential amenity. The kitchen if fitted with top-range appliances, and all the conveniences an avid cook would enjoy :) Most old Copenhagen apartments have extremely tiny shower and toilet spaces in comparison (often a closet-sized bathroom), making this big brand new bathroom a real exception.

The apartment ensures you have some of my own personal travel preferences for quality of life:
There is extremely fast high-speed internet (WiFi) and the very large shower has unlimited hot water with an overhead rainfall shower. There is also several great ways to brew a delicious cup of coffee. For relaxing, the living room and bedroom have both HBO and Netflix (US & Danish). Finally I would reccomend enjoying Copenhagen from the bike lanes by renting a bike right downstairs at the Cykel Borsen Bike Shop.

My passion in life is to travel, so I am thrilled to use airbnb when exploring the world and at the same time helping others explore it too by renting out my home.
After three years on Airbnb and dozens of guests and journeys, I have realized just how kind, respectful and wonderful people are who look after your home. It has been the single best improvement to my passion for travelling and offered me a unique chance to welcome others to my city. I hope to share this enjoyment with you as a guest or a host in the future.
