Unit is located within an attractive condominium complex on the island’s northwest shore called Paniolo Hale, which translates “Cowboy House” in Hawaiian. The units all have wrap-around, screened-in porches or lanais. When the French doors on the living room are open, the living space expands to include this semi-enclosed area effectively blurring the boundaries between interior and exterior space. It’s a great place to eat meals, read, overlook the ocean, or even sleep as a cool breeze blows and waves break gently in the distance.

Unit is a 5-minute walk to Kepuhi Beach (which it overlooks) and a 10-minute walk to Makehorse Beach.

Although the condominium complex dates back to 1980, the bathroom and kitchen have recently been renovated. Unit amenities include:

Washer & dryer,

Stainless steel electric stove with range,

Stainless steel refrigerator with filtered water and icemaker,


New dishes and glasses,

Hand-sewn quilts decorating the walls.

Please no smoking.

In order to give our housekeeper time to clean our unit, we request that you
plan to arrive no earlier than 3:00 PM on your day of arrival, and that you
depart no later than 10:00 AM on the day that you leave.

Pick your mail up from the mail slots on the office lanai. The schedule of
the lanai office is apt to change.

Our security agency requests that all guests sign in on the clipboard
outside the office lanai. They need to know who is staying in every unit at
all times. So, when it is convenient, please sign in after you arrive. And,
please remember that this is our home. We would appreciate it if you would
treat it as you would your own home.

It is the Hawaiian custom that before entering a private home you remove
your shoes or sandals. This slows down the wear of the hardwood floors and
carpets and helps keep the sand out of the house.

Hawaii is an outdoor wonderland but suntan lotion and oil will permanently
stain the furniture, please refrain from sitting on upholstered furniture in
bathing suits.

Keep in mind that you will be in the tropics with a large insect population.
And even with a very active abatement program, these insects just love to
have food left out on the counters, so we strongly suggest that you put all
food away in the refrigerator at night and empty the garbage before you go
to bed.

Please leave the Radio/CD/Tape player in the bookcase in the unit. We
definitely do not want it taken to the beach.

You will find beach towels in the bathroom, beach chairs and mats and a
picnic cooler in the utility closet. The blue ice is in the freezer.

Please note that due to the overpopulation of feral cats, the Board of
Directors requests that owners and guests refrain from feeding the cats or
else fines will be issued. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
