One-half of a charming, comfortable 1892 Eastlake Victorian shotgun double on a major well-lit blvd in a great neighborhood, with lush, edible no-pesticide gardens, a pool in the secluded backyard, and full kitchen, laundry & travel needs! Located in the historic Milan, 2 blocks to streetcars/Mardi Gras parades, 8 blocks to Magazine St bars, restaurants & shopping. Stay at the Gingerbread Camellia Shotgun! Our house is a beautiful 1892 Eastlake Victorian double shotgun with 14 foot ceilings and hardwood floors everywhere except the tiled kitchen and bathrooms. After you stay here, everywhere else will seem like the ceiling is closing down on you.
Our photo list divides each area with a (no pesticides) plant featured from our garden. The apartment is a spacious and airy 1100 sq ft, with ceiling fans in every room, A/C and Heat, Roku 3 with free Netflix and Hulu, office supplies, post cards, 2 brand new queen beds, one futon and a full size sleeper sofa, 2 great rooms, 2 medium rooms, a kitchen stocked with glassware, silverware, linens, 1.5 bathrooms, (1 inside plus and emergency half bath in the back) New 39" TV inside, books, regular local periodicals to check out what's going on, piano & other instruments, artwork by New Orleans artists, hairdryer, iron/board, laundry with washer and dryer and an awesome high-walled backyard with a 15’ pool and front porch with gardens full of edible food for you that has not been treated with any pesticides whatsoever. We have bathroom sundries, parade supplies, costumes and masks, a fully stocked refrigerator and pantry, great coffee, reusable shopping bags and umbrellas, all of your travel needs.
The main door lock is a code lock so entry is a breeze. We have security cameras and a neighborhood patrol which are very nice, friendly and helpful people. We have recycling (except no glass). Maximum occupancy is 6 people: PLEASE look at the bed options listed and make sure your group are appropriate for the bed arrangements.

more like how do I have time to do all this!? please check the ‘view calendar’ link as we have made notations on the AIRBNB calendar as to what is going on, that day, in New Orleans! If it is not working, we can text you what is going on in town during your desired dates. We also have maps on the wall which you can photograph to have with you while out and about.
check WWOZ's website for every live music show in the city on the Live Wire link! (or just Coogle "Live Wire" they have an excellent second line parade calendar and venue info for nearly every music show in the city) also, check "Best Of New Orleans" for Events, Festivals and more!

No Smoking (of anything) in the House. The covered porches and front and back yards are available for smoking.
Per insurance regulations, all guests must be 21 or over, unless traveling with parents.
check out is normally at 11 am and check in is normally at 3 pm - if your arrival requires otherwise, please make us aware ahead of time and as long as there is no conflict with the calendar/another guest, we can accommodate you. the only way to do this fairly is first come, first served. so please! check ahead of time!

In the event of a hurricane where a mandatory evacuation is ordered, all reservations are off for a period of the next 10 days. Any funds paid to host for those dates will be refunded. AirBnB may keep its fees depending upon the circumstances.
People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not be admitted to the property at any time without the express permission of the Homeowners. Any guest of Guest in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest.
