The home is located just above the bustling little neighborhood of Rockridge, which sits on the Oakland Berkeley border. We are about 5 blocks from College Ave, which includes:
- More coffee shops than you can possibly visit. Cole Coffee has amazing coffee and a fanatic weekend following. Or turn the other way and you have a dozen other great choices.
- Fancy and Upscale places with great ambiance (Thai, American, California Cuisine, Italian).
- Inexpensive comfort foods: Indian, Mexican and Thai.
- Bank of America.
- Safeway for groceries.
It is as safe a neighborhood as you can imagine. We go for late-night walks all the time and always feel safe.
There are amazing hikes very nearby including some of the "Secret Stairways of Oakland", just a stones throw away from our door, and a fabulous Farmers Market just a short trek away!
Our home is centrally located with bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and all the rest.

I have a lust for life, and am constantly seeking out new experiences. I love to travel! When I'm home, I teach Pilates, operate a Pilates studio that I own, write in my blog (URL HIDDEN) and try to teach people how to feel better in their bodies through better posture and movement. I feel fortunate that I find my work meaningful and significant, and that I enjoy it immensely.
I live with my husband, Greg, and our son, Desmond.
Our home is our sanctuary- we love it! We look out onto Redwood trees every morning when we have our coffee and breakfast, and are entertained by the antics of a few squirrels that scuttle around eating figs from a nearby tree. Our neighborhood is amazing- we have great neighbors, a gorgeous neighborhood, full of Craftsman style homes, cafes, restaurants...anything one could possibly desire.
