À propos de ce logement

Our family plantation is a beautiful forested area, with hours of available territory for walking and musing all about. The retreat is perfect for those who desire time to write, think, create, renew.

Le logement

We have a large, historic plantation. A beautiful historic part of barn was restored to a real retreat. Horses graze and flowers bloom outside your windows, 2200 acres of forest and ponds and wildlife. Your cell phone might work, but will definitely work 1 mile up the road. TV and satellite internet is in another house, and you may use it as a guest. Your fridge will have what you would like for breakfast, and your host can pick up dinner for you in town if you do not wish to drive the 20 minutes to Natchez. Natchez is a beautiful town on the Mississippi River, with many antebellum homes one may tour. There are several good restaurants and some fun shops and galleries.
I am a good host, lots of B&B experience in my history. I leave you to your own devices, and willing to fill you in on what you want to know, invite you to dinner. I am also a therapist and you can see more about including therapeutic sessions or spa session in your stay.

You may also rent this wonderful place by the month.

Accès des voyageurs

We have water in the swimming pool between about May and October, and they could use the pool. The guests may walk on our property in the woods, and have access to internet in one of the properties if access is important.

Échanges avec les voyageurs

The owners are rarely in Natchez, although the caretaker can interact with guests to provide helpful information.

Autres remarques

Our Air BnB rental depends on the weather and local events in Natchez. From June through September the weather is very hot and humid, and may have hurricanes. The spring and fall are popular times to visit Natchez. Rental of our property depends on the care taker and their schedule. Please plan to reserve a week in advance. The plantation owners are not there often, so be patient and let owners or caretakers get back to you.

The retreat house is in an amazing place! It is so far out there... there's no internet or cellphone coverage (you can use satelite internet on request). Add some interesting insects and you're up for some unique experience! :) The house is clean and David is a helpful host. You'll see pure nature around you, with butterflies, chipmunks or even an armadillo! Just enjoy the peace and quiet in the night, while discovering beautiful Natchez during daytime.

I am a young woman over 55, who loves dancing Argentine tango, meeting friendly people who are good conversationalists and who appreciate good food and wine.
I have traveled the world, lived in many countries, and I also take groups on trips to discover tango, different cultures, foods, wines, and ecology. I enjoy hiking, riding, dancing, cooking, languages, reading, and authentic dialogues with others. I laugh easily.
I am a somatic therapist, and currently learning more on cranial sacral work with horses. I speak fluent Spanish and some French.
