Stay in this fully furnished Palmer & Krisel designed, Alexander built mid-century 3 bedroom 2 bath + dining room home with gabled roof and open beam ceilings. The house is 1525 sq./ft. and sleeps six people (eight guests total max allowed). Pets ok on approval (fee). It is located in the world famous Racquet Club Road Estates neighborhood of Palm Springs, the location of the recently aired prime-time NBC television series 'American Dream Builders.' Our neighborhood is also part of the Palm Springs 'Modernism Week Tour.' We are conveniently located just 5 minutes from downtown Palm Springs where you will find casino / market / dining/ clubs. Built in 1959, it has a great vibe and is that perfect Palm Springs getaway to party or get together / reunion / family vacation house. Good neighbors and very quiet. We have a HUGE private backyard with an amazing view of the San Jacinto mountains. Enjoy our awesome 30' long salt water pool with attached spa. Cook in our modern kitchen with all amenities. Our entertainment center includes a 50" LCD television with HBO/SHOWTIME, NETFLIX, DVD Player and free wireless Internet. Large dining room too. BBQ and dine in or outside. Everything you need is here including free parking, bicycles, pool toys, tether ball, volley ball at nearby park, fun all here!!!
BEDS: There are five beds. Each guest bedroom has a queen bed and there is a Cal King in the master suite. The fourth bed is a full size bed that we have located in the middle guest room. The fifth bed (a single bed pillow top) located in the second guest room. There is also a full size day bed/ couch-futon in the living room (see pictures). We also have a queen sized instant blow-up bed. There are two single folding foam mattresses and a sleeping bag too that you may use for extra guests. Ok for more than six to stay (no more than eight total). Washer /dryer and detergent is provided on site. We provide clean towels and linens. We have a fully stocked gourmet kitchen with pots and pans, salad bowls, and plates and utensils for at least eight. We even have a veggie juicer! Gas and charcoal barbecue is also here. We have a few beach cruiser bikes that you are welcome to use. Lock 'em up when not in use.
POOL & SPA: Full jets 8 person spa is on a timer and heats separately from pool. Our private 15'x30' pool is not always heated so, if you want it heated, let us know one week in advance and we will heat it ready for your arrival. There is an extra charge to heat pool and spa (see cost below in House Rules).
The house has a great vibe. Great party / get together / family fun house. Good neighbors. Our home was built in 1959 and is well loved and lived in during the off season by a family of three. Everything works but it needs a little paint here and there and new flooring in the halls and bedrooms (currently has white painted floors in those areas). A/C and heat all work good and are regularly serviced. It is not a fully restored home - but we are working on it! We respond quickly to any issues.

I'll welcome you in and then you are on your own. Reasons I will show up: if there is a noise complaint or some other disturbance or emergency with prior warning if possible. Call me any time 24/7 if there are issues with the rental i.e., plumbing, electrical, pool, etc., or if you need me or have questions for whatever reason. In the case of emergencies first call 911, then owner or agent, then Airbnb.
City Vacation Rental Permit number is PS6384.
OTHER FEES: City TOT Room Tax of 11.5% is paid separately from your Airbnb payment in advance of check-in.
If guest requests any of the following the price will be modified to reflect these costs:
- Wintertime/Spring Pool heating charge (optional) of $65/day with a THREE DAY MINIMUM (7 day advance notice to heat pool required), OR Spa only heating (no advance notice required) at $65 per two days minimum stay and $35 per each additional day(s);
- $65 per stay per animal fee.
- Golf clubs for $10/day.

PET POLICY: Pets are okay on approval (see pet fee above). Although we ourselves are pet owners, our home is free from pet odors.
POOL SAFETY: Our pool / spa area DOES NOT have child protective fencing. No lifeguard on duty. Use pool & spa at your own risk. NO DIVING or running around pool. There is a fee for heating pool and spa (see above).
MINIMUM STAY: High season, holidays and special event minimum stay days is at the discretion of the owner. Stay 3 days minimum + during those times. Special events i.e., Coachella / Stagecoach is 3 to 6 days depending. Stays longer than 4 days may require additional security deposit and maids visit.
BICYCLES: No charge for the use of our bicycles! (You break 'em or loose 'em, you buy 'em.) Use at your own risk. Bring your own helmets.
DISCOUNTS: Say what!??
Meet and greet on check-in required by City. Responsible guest age minimum is 25 yrs. Strict NO SMOKING policy. Palm Springs noise ordinance for vacation rentals is strict. No unauthorized parties allowed and NO AMPLIFIED MUSIC outside that can be heard by neighbors (city ordinance ). You agree to pay any and all fines and penalties if police or City gets involved. Failure to comply may result in termination of your stay.
Please keep it cool around the pool (quiet please) after 10PM. We have only had one noise complaint in two years of happy renters. Let's keep it that way!
Fee to heat pool and spa is $65 / day (3 day minimum). City tax is 11.5% on total rental and fees to be paid separately to homeowner prior to check in. Ask first if you plan on bringing pets. Pet fee is $65 per pet for up to three days. We are pet owners (spayed dog and neutered cat). Please be respectful of our home and neighborhood. No daily maid service. No lifeguard on duty. Palm Springs North can get windy. Pool is cleaned prior to your arrival. Pool is professionally cleaned on Mondays and Thursdays. If wind dirties pool during your stay owner not responsible. Use of bicycles limited to local area rides and are not to be transported from the site. Any broken or missing property is your responsibility - including plumbing issues i.e., backed-up toilets, disposal, etc. Re plumbing; ONLY TOILET PAPER is to be flushed. If anything other than TP, feminine napkins i.e., Tampons, paper towels, etc. are found to have clogged plumbing, cost to repair is your responsibility. Our own 'Short Term Rental Agreement' that has complete house rules is agreed to by default when you book. This can be copied to a message thread for you to review in advance. Guests may be asked to present driver license and or passport at check in.
*In the unlikely event that guests are in violation of noise ordinance or any of our House Rules (See Short Term Rental Agreement available upon request) the result is loss of deposit and or any fines or tickets I get as a result only because it is such a huge hassle for me dealing with the City.
Remember that as our guest, you are responsible for leaving the home in the condition it was in when you arrived. You are responsible for your own acts and are also responsible for the acts of any individuals or pets whom you invite to, or otherwise provide access to, the home. :-)
