Le logement

Smart, light and spacious south-facing apartment with 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open-plan dining, and well-equipped kitchen.

The flat is on the first floor of a gorgeous, renovated, old-style building overlooking the sea and the old port. The apartment includes a good-sized dining and living room with beautiful views, an open kitchen/bar that comes with all appliances, as well as two bathrooms - one with a bath tub and the other with a shower. There are two large double bedrooms each with two single beds.

Located in the heart of Cannes the apartment has a beautiful view of Cannes town square, dazzling yachts and sail boats moored at the famous harbour, the Festival Palace and the azure sea beyond. In a simply superb location this gorgeous apartment is perfect for a family, a group of friends and couples.

Just minutes from the Festival Palace, this apartment is also the place for business travellers for work, entertainment or showcasing your business to others in a prestigious and inspiring location with free wireless internet connection, HDTV, concierge service and daily cleaning.

You will have the whole apartment to yourselves which is in a building that consists of three apartments only: Citilet Louie Blanc 1 (first floor), 2 (second floor) and 3 (duplex apartment on 3/4 floor together). Access is via a main door on Rue Meynadier that has a buzzer to each apartment.

Échanges avec les voyageurs

We aim to give the guests all the privacy they want. If there is a problem, my colleague Cathy who lives in Cannes is just a few minutes away. Cathy is the person who meets guests on arrival, handing over the keys and introducing the apartments. Cathy speaks English, French and Italian.

Le quartier

A leisurely stroll across the square with cafes and markets will take you to the Festival Palace and the Croisette where you can take your pick from a dozen beach restaurants, or simply buy a sandwich or ice-cream from many a food stand to eat on the beach while soaking up the Mediterranean sun and refreshing sea breeze.

Dine in the adjacent famous seafood restaurant Astoux Et Brun à Cannes or even order up a plate of delicious, fresh shellfish to eat on the balcony in the sunshine. Further cafes and restaurants surround the apartment offering all sorts of choices from traditional French cuisine, Italian and Japanese. You are of course spoilt for choice in bakeries along Rue Meynadier offering the essential French baguette and croissants for breakfast as well as out-of-this-world patisseries.

Alternatively walk along the old port to the ferry terminal where a 15 minute boat ride takes you to Île Sainte-Marguerite or trips can be taken to other towns on the Côte d’Azur such as Monaco or Saint Tropez. Just beyond the terminal, public beaches stretch forever along the Boulevard Midi Louise Moreau lined with cafes where you can play beach volley, hire a jet ski or simply have a dip. Or if shopping is your desire, wander along the Rue D’Antibes

Behind the apartment is Le Suquet, the old quarter of Cannes with the winding, cobbled, restaurant-lined Rue St Antoine at the top of which is the clock tower and church. At the bottom is the Marché Forville, where a lavish fruit and vegetable market is held daily in the mornings and early afternoon.

Everything is on your doorstep at Citilet Louie Blanc 2.

Transports

The flat is 300m from the bus depot - busses run directly to Nice and Nice airport, amongst other towns - and is a 10 min walk to the train station. Two underground public parking areas are in the near vicinity - Pantiero (under the harbour) and Ferrage (behind Forville Market). Parking can be booked online, for example on inter-parking France, or by calling the Cannes Tourist Information.

Autres remarques

The cleaning fee includes fresh linen and towels on arrival as well as the departure clean.
We can often accommodate different arrival times. This just depends on how busy we are.
Late arrivals after 9pm will incur an additional fee - €30-60 depending on the lateness.
If staying more than a week it is obligatory to pay for a mid-clean (€50) and a linen change (€15 per person per change depending on the season).
Small pets are welcome but are not allowed on the furniture. A €100 deposit is taken in case any additional, deep cleaning is necessary.
For major Festivals - MIPIM, MIPTV, FIF, MIDEM, LIONS, TAX FREE, MIPCOM, MAPIC - we can provide daily cleaning and additional services such as catering (for an extra fee). Please enquire about this prior to booking.

Emplacement central avec une très belle vue. Bon agencement. Bruyant dans la journée et on entend fort Les voisins du dessus. Couettes aux dimensions plus petites que les matelas.

Très bel appartement, bien aménagé, idéalement situé avec une belle vue sur le port. 2 belles chambres avec 2 salles d'eau. Très bonne accueil. Je recommande!

Très bon accueil avec grande disponibilité pour s'adapter à nos horaires. Appartement très bien situé correspondant bien au descriptif tant par sa localisation que son confort : la vue sur le port est superbe et l'agencement de l'appartement permet d'en profiter à toute heure. Son excellente localisation permet de se trouver en plein centre ville avec tous ses avantages et inconvénients ( on ne peux pas être en plein centre ville , à 2 pas de la croisette et du palais des festivals et avoir le calme malgré les efforts faits pour bien isoler l'appartement du bruit: doubles vitrages etc...) Merci encore : nous avons passe un délicieux moment

Very well located in the port of Cannes. Steps away from the Marche Forville. A walkable distance to the train station (One bagger!) and parking nearby underground. Many local restaurants & bars with a great selection. Never far from the action. Roomy with a great view Only downside is that it can be a bit noisy, so if you are not used to a bit of clatter all night long, you may be a bit sleepless! In all fairness we were there over New Years! Also stairs would not be good for those with mobility issues

Utrolig fin leilighet med super beliggenhet. Gangavstand til alt du trenger: strand, restauranter, kafeer og butikker. Anbefaler denne leiligheten på det varmeste.

This apartment was such a treat. Centrally located, had everything we could ask for. The balcony in the morning started the day off perfectly. If there is a negative, it would be the parking. It was very expensive. Other than that, we would come back again and again.

we were met on time by the very nice host and led up the stairs to a lovely bright apartment with fantastic views. The flat is ideally located right in the middle of everything. Two nice bedrooms and a lovely lounge /eating area. My only issue, which the host did warn me about was that the noise outside, as you are right in center of Cannes, can be a little challenging if you want a very quiet holiday. Otherwise it was fantastic.
