My home is located in a quiet downtown Charleston suburban area just about a 3-5 minute drive (or short bike ride) from Upper King, amazing restaurants and shopping, gorgeous parks, our local Charleston Farmer's Market at Marion Square, and many historic sites. The Peninsula of historic downtown Charleston is about 3.5 miles long and 1.5 miles wide, so everything downtown is very convenient and easily accessible by car, Uber/taxi, pedicab, or bike. Feel free to bring your own bikes or I can recommend some nearby bike rental companies.

1) The best cell phone number to reach you on your way here and during your stay. If another guest will be checking in before you, I will need their best cell number in addition to yours.
2 Your preferred arrival time & incoming/outgoing flight information (note earliest check-in is 4pm, and latest check-out is 12pm unless otherwise specified) so that I can most efficiently have the house complete and ready upon your arrival.
3) Guest List - first & last names & ages of all guests & animals occupying the property during the reservation dates.
4) A copy or picture of your photo ID (driver's license/passport). Please be prepared to show this valid photo ID upon check-in. If another guest will be checking in before you, I will need a copy of their photo ID in addition to yours.

•Please save or print a copy of this confirmation email, read all the way through it, and note the address.
•Requests to Alter Reservations will NOT be accepted unless they meet the minimum night requirement and the cancellation policy.

PROPERTY RULES
•PARKING – (2 Car Maximum at any one time) Only park in my driveway or in front of my front yard on the street.
•NEIGHBORS - Please be very cognizant and respectful of my neighbors; they report to me and/or police if anything is out of the ordinary.
•DAMAGE - If anything is damaged or broken, please contact Ginger immediately.
•NUMBER OF GUESTS & PETS - No overnight guests (or pets) unless confirmed through Airbnb and/or previously agreed upon by Ginger.
•NO GET-TOGETHERS, SMALL GATHERINGS, OR EVENTS ARE PERMITTED AT THIS PROPERTY.
•NO SMOKING - No smoking inside the house! Smoking is permitted outside only, but please ensure proper disposal of cigarette butts.
•KEYS/DOORS/LOCKS - Make sure to lock all exterior doors when you leave any time during your stay.
•HVAC - Please be cognizant and respectful of the temperature setting on the HVAC – set to around 80 degrees in hot months and 65 degrees during cold months when the house is not occupied and when you are checking out; ALWAYS keep fan setting to auto; NEVER turn unit completely off.
•REQUIRED CLEANING - Feel free to use kitchen utensils, glasses, plates, pots, and pans, but be sure to thoroughly clean before returning them to cupboards.
•Please feel free to contact Ginger with any questions/concerns during your stay!

CHECK-OUT PROCEDURES
•LINENS - Please do not worry about making the beds (they are stripped and washed after every departure).
•BATH TOWELS - Used towels should be left in a pile on bathroom floor or bathtub.
•REQUIRED CLEANING - The kitchen, countertops, stovetop, coffee maker, microwave, dishes, utensils, glasses, cups, etc., and outdoor grill should be left clean.
•HVAC SETTING - Please set HVAC temperature to 80 degrees in hot months and 65 degrees in cold months before you leave; do not turn unit off.
•DON'T FORGET - Please call or text me as you are leaving to let me know that you are officially checking out.
•KEYS/LOCKS - Please make sure all exterior doors are locked, leave the key on the hook under the mirror in the living room, and use the upper twist lock on the front metal door when exiting (ensure the door is locked once shut).

HOUSE MANUAL
•TRASH - Extra kitchen trash bags are located under the sink; if the can fills, the outside trash bin (green) is behind the black wooden fence. Every Tuesday Evening, please pull outside trash bin (green) out to the street for Wednesday morning pickup and return behind fence once complete.
•RECYCLE - There is a blue recycling bin under the sink; if it fills, the outside recycling bin (blue) is also behind the black wooden fence. Every other Monday Evening, please pull outside recycle bin (blue) out to the street for Tuesday morning pickup and return behind fence once complete.
•LAUNDRY - The laundry facility is located in the guest bedroom closet.
•CABLE - There is Comcast Xfinity Cable on both televisions.
•WIFI - Network and Password are located on the front of the guest information binder. The modem/router is located under the living room TV in the console.

Ginger was friendly, available, organized, and professional. The bungalow was comfortable, quiet, had character, and was very charming. We loved staying there. Everything we wanted to know about Charleston was readily available to us, either through the convenient binder of information and Ginger's personal recommendations, or by a quick text to Ginger. Our trip was everything we could've asked for!

Great, homey house with everything needed inside. We brought our dog and it was great having a small yard for him and the close proximity to Hampton Park was perfect for morning walks/exercise with our guy. The area seems up and coming and has some awesome restaurants that can get you away from some of the touristy locations further Downtown. Easy Uber rides anywhere you want to go whether it be Downtown or Mount Pleasant areas.

We had a great time - quiet when we needed it and close to the hustle and bustle when we wanted! Neighborhood is on the up and up and Ginger is truely a great host!

Ginger's place is quaint and adorable. She was very efficient and helpful with our trip. Her home was very comfortable and quiet. The beds were comfortable. I will be back to stay again.

Ginger is an excellent host. She is very thorough and provides you with everything you need and more to have a good time in Charleston. She's available to answer questions throughout the trip as well. The home is very tidy and the neighbors are really friendly. We didn't care for the general area as it's run down and many homes and commercial buildings are in need of tear down or repair, however, as many others have said, the area is on the cusp of gentrification and very near to some excellent restaurants and bars. The house was perfect for our family of 3 plus our German Shepherd. We had everything we needed and the house was exactly as pictured. Thanks Ginger!

I have no children or pets, but welcome them in my home as long as they are well behaved and their parents clean up after them. :) My home is not completely child proof, so if you and your child or children are visiting here, I recommend doing a walk through to put away any decor that may be an issue.
