Hello Amanda! We wanted to start by saying how apologetic we are that your stay wasn't the ideal experience that we strive to provide to our guests. As mentioned in your review, whenever these issues were brought to our attention, we attended to them as soon as possible. The owner of the management company was assisting over the weekend while you staying with us to give our innkeeper a rare weekend off. The owner misread the calendars during your stay, so that's why there was no breakfast placed out for you. Since this has happened, we have showed the owner how to properly read the calendars to avoid this situation in the future. In addition to, we do state in our listing that breakfast is only available on Saturdays and Sundays. We do not have a sign inside of the space. We absolutely never want to leave our guests left hungry and wondering. To say the least, we are embarrassed that you had to experience this feeling. When you were staying with us, we were also experiencing a slower week than normal, which is why you didn't see any other friendly faces around the bed and breakfast. After reading your review, we were also left a bit surprised. During your stay, we were not aware of the cleanliness issues. If these would have been brought to our attention, we would have happily sent over one of our on-call cleaners to assist or provide compensation for the issues.
