A wonderful location by the sea close to the harbour that is becoming increasingly lively with whale watching, trendy restaurants and bars, galleries and small shops. Almost next door to the Northern Lights museum, the Maritime museum and other interesting locations. Only about 10 minutes walk to the city center. A location in close proximity to all the best Reykjavík has to offer.
A bus stop right outside the front door that will take you downtown, line 13, and other places if you prefer not to walk. Also, if you have a car it´s easy to get a parking space.
Modern and well stocked kitchen. A TV with foreign channels to relax with after a hard day exploring.
The hosts are always ready to communicate with guests and provide whatever assistance they need.
On the ground floor are some very nice shops, like a bakery, ice parlour and a grocery store accross the street.
From the balcony is a fantastic view to the mountains and the northern lights in winter time.
Easy walking to the city center. A guest can actually take three charming routes. The most common one and the shortest is through a charming and pricy old residential area, past the only Catholic church in Iceland and you find yourself in the city center. One can also take the sea route and pass the old harbour or take the pond route by Hringbraut.
