A warm country home offering a B&B in a gorgeous valley in the Andes Mountains located just outside of the colonial town of Alausi. This house has accommodation for 8 people 2 in each room max. With 3 acres of land and plenty of day hikes to explore.
Very comfortable beds with huge windows to have the natural light come in during the day and have the stars shine at night.

I like to interact with my guests. If I can help with any questions about farming or about traveling in Ecuador, I am your man!
Alausi is known for the famous train ride “El Nariz del Diablo”, but why not walk it? Walking the railroad tracks you get to use your other senses that are obstructed from the train cars speeding away. Ask me for a guided tour and I’ll show you places that not even native people from Alausi have seen.
I’m sorry but I can not allow any more pets in my farm (too many chickens have gone missing !LOL!) Smoking is ok if you do it outside and if you make a mess in the common areas please clean up…

Hello, my name is Victor Rivadeneira. I was born and raised in Stamford CT. Both of my parents are Ecuadorian and immigrated to the States in the 70’s. I believe I was very fortune to have traveled to Ecuador every year for the entire summer vacation since I was a baby. When my father passed away in 2010 I inherited this farm in Alausi. Since then I converted this land to ONLY produce organic products that I sell locally to Alausi. My goal if you stay here is to inspire you to create your own little garden at home either on the balcony of your small apartment in the city or in your back yard in the suburbs. Growing your own food is my passion, and I want to share it with you!
