After meeting so many great people while renting out my place in Washington DC using AirBnB (see my other Airbnb reviews), my roommate, David, and I are excited to offer a private room in our three bedroom duplex apartment.

Your private room can accommodate up to two people and is fully equipped with a full-size bed, TV with basic channels and Netflix (streaming TV and movies), and a workspace. The room itself gets a lot of sun during the day, has exposed brick, and is roughly 120 square feet. We will provide you with clean sheets and towels and you will have complete access to the common spaces (kitchen and living room), a full bathroom, free wireless internet, and you will have a key to your bedroom which you can lock for privacy.

Our apartment is on the top floor of a three-story apartment building and was renovated a couple of years ago so it has all new appliances and wood floors throughout. We work hard to keep our apartment clean and inviting and like to have local artists hang their work in our apartment so guests can see art without having to leave home! Another added perk of our space is access to a shared backyard, which can be a great place to relax when it's warm.

The check in/out time is flexible, so feel free to check with me before making reservation. Also, please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or want more information.

- 5 minute walk to the L Train to take you to Williamsburg (10 minute ride) or Union Square/Manhattan(15 minute ride)
- Full kitchen w/ Dishwasher
- Refrigerator
- Microwave
- Gas Stove/Oven
- Coffee Pot
- TV with Netflix in your room
- High speed internet and WIFI
- Full bath with tub
- Blow dryer
- Full service laundromat three blocks from the apt
- Backyard access

From our travels, we know that it's great when locals tell you about their favorite places. Our goal is to make sure you feel like a local and have a great time while you visit.

David and I generally have differing schedules. I'm usually out during the day, David is out during the evenings. We are always accessible by mobile or email to answer any questions you may have and we are happy to provide you with a map and list of our favorite places in the neighborhood and share advice about NYC in general.

We are also both very clean and quiet, so you can expect to have a place to relax and unwind when you come home.

Bushwick is a fantastic place to call home! The neighborhood has great bars, vintage stores, restaurants, and coffee shops.

There are a lot of artists in the neighborhood, and the area is home to the largest concentration of art galleries outside of Manhattan. There's great live music, cool street art, and fantastic restaurants that use locally sourced produce.

The neighborhood is also quite safe and you can walk around anytime day or night.

Our apartment is equidistant--about a 5 minute walk--from the Morgan Avenue and Jefferson Street L train stops. The L train will take you to Williamsburg in 10 minutes, and Union Square in Manhattan in 15 minutes.

You can also easily walk 10 minutes to the Myrtle Avenue J, M, and Z subway stop if you are looking to go directly to Chinatown or downtown Manhattan.

We only ask you respect the place as your own. In terms of house rules - taking out the trash, putting dishes in the dishwasher and just picking up after yourself truly helps in keeping the place and your stay at its best. Additionally we prefer that large parties are not thrown in respect to neighbors below and noise stays at a minimum by midnight. Other than that, we just want to make sure you enjoy your stay.

Thank you!

Jeremy and David were very welcoming hosts, I had just moved over to New York from London and Jeremy was really helpful with tips for apartment hunting and very kindly introduced me to some of his friends. The apartment is lovely with a well-equipped kitchen and the room itself was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

Jeremy and David's place is clean ans cozy. It's only a 10-15 min walk from two metro stations from which you can get to Manhattan in less than 15 minutes. We also loved the Bushwick neighborhood... A nice area to walk around, with great street art, cool and chill bars and nice places to eat. When you arrive David and\or Jeremias give you a super friendly welcome and show you tips to where to go and what to do in NY. We highly recommend this place. Cheers, Rodo&Vale

Such a great place to stay! We were super busy with sight seeing and catching up with friends but this was the perfect pad to crash. The mattress is probably going to need an update soon but it didn't bother us. The map the guys provided for us for around Brooklyn was so helpful - and Davids suggestions were awesome. All in all a great stay. Such a clean and warm apartment with everything you need.

This place is absolutely amazing! We spent there 10 days and enjoyed every minute of it. Hip area with plenty of cafes and stores around. Big supermarket with a fresh fruits and coffee just 5 mins away. Morgan subway station just 10 mins away from the apartment. Great tea and tasty coffee every day. Sometimes it was a bit noisy, but this is a NY)) Thanks again for being great guests!

Hi I am Jeremy! I work for a NYC tech startup and like to do art in my spare time. I have lived all over the US, including in DC and New York City, as well as in London, England. Since I have lived in different New York neighborhoods, I am happy to provide information on events and sights that only locals would know about during your stay.

Hi! My name is David. I'm a lighting designer for high-end events, concerts and tours. I teach meditation and read tarot locally. I've been living in the Bushwick area and involved with the underground art and music scene since 2008 and I'd be happy to let you in on any underground happenings as well as provide information about the better known events and locations Brooklyn has to offer.

Feel free to contact us if you are interested in a lovely stay at our apartment in the heart of Bushwick, Brooklyn!

Thanks and happy travels!
