Great cycling in the area, for mountain bikes and road bikes. Motorcycle touring is also popular in the area. We appreciate quiet BMW motorcycles and welcome those who travel on those or similar quiet touring machines.

No loud motorcycles or loud cars.
We expect guests to be able to enjoy a quiet and restful stay here, and that they will also be respectful of ourselves and our neighbours. Sound travels easily here, being in a quiet area next to a lake. When you are outside, we ask that conversations be kept fairly quiet, and that people watch their language. Thank you!

I live in a piece of paradise and like to share it with others so that they might deepen their appreciation and respect of our natural world. I attempt to live sustainably with the support of my partner and dog. We three love the outdoors - paddling, cycling, cross country skiing, hiking and gardening. Je parle Francais - a wee bit.
I love my organic coffee and chocolate, fruits and veggies. Traveling anywhere in Canada is always my favorite destination.
Yoga is a key part of my daily life. I co-own Shuswap Yoga (Iyengar tradition) in Salmon Arm. As a practitioner and instructor, I actively encourage living sustainably, crafting a work/play balance by choosing activities that support the best health possible, which includes eating well. I believe in living with a soft impact on the earth. I believe in the strength of local communities and supporting local efforts in building a more caring and sane world. It all begins where you are.
