We live very close to New Center in the La Salle Gardens neighborhood, an area with a rich history and easy access to midtown, downtown, and WSU. There is great access to transit. The house is shared with housemates and we are all of a locally oriented entrepreneurial mindset.
We have been renovating over the past 8 months. The house has brand new electric, plumbing, and we re-did the bathroom but there is still more work to do (e.g. needs repainting, etc.) as we are actively improving it.

Super logement, maison ancienne. Hôtes super sympa. Il nous a indiqué tout ce que nous pouvions faire à Detroit. On a eu l'impression d'être attendu, ce qui est agréable. Nous avons même pu prendre notre logement à 9h du matin ce qui était super. Merci encore

Walking distance to the Motown Museum and if you've got the legs, all the way downtown too - although a bus runs every half hour. Uber $10. No worries about safety.

rats in the home didn't feel welcome had a bunch of friends living in the home other guest in the home made us feel real uncomfortable

The house is exactly as he describes it. Renovations under way but in no way does it affect your stay. The room was clean and the bed was soft and there was a bathroom and a working fridge with space for a few snacks. And Wifi! Everything you could really need. Adrian was out for…
