Private bedroom in an upscale two bedroom two bath townhouse unit. Located in the heart of San Diego's Hillcrest area.Just steps out the door to all th this vibrant community has to offer with it's many great restaurants, shops, clubs and night life.

This comfortable second story urban hide-away is a two bedroom two bath townhouse unit. Bamboo wood floors and carpeted bedrooms. The living room has lots of light, cathedral ceilings and a gas log fireplace. The dining room has a small balcony off of it with lots of plants and a seating area to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. The living room has a large LCD television for TV or DVD entertainment. Central heat and air throughout the unit. The Kitchen has granite countertops and all the conveniences for cooking. The guest bathroom (pictured) is tiled and has a shower/Jacuzzi tub to relax in. There is a washer and dryer in the unit available for use.

Make yourself at home using the kitchen and living room. There is wifi access. You are welcome to make use of the TV or DVD in the living room. The balcony has a barbecue you can use.

I come and go a fair amount but I'd be glad to help familiarize you with the area and the many things it has to offer while you are staying with me.

Location, location, location... It is steps to just about everything! It is one block off the main street (University Ave) of the Hillcrest neighborhood known for its diverse population and gay friendly environment. There are lots eclectic shops, great restaurants, Wine bars, microbrewery, several popular dance clubs and bars all within the area. There is a great farmers market every Sunday with all kinds of fresh produce as well as prepared foods. There is a Ralphs Grocery, a Trader Joe's and a Starbucks across the street. Whole Foods is just down several blocks. There is a movie theatre and 24 hour fitness center within a few blocks. Balboa Park and the world-famous San Diego Zoo are a 15-20 walk away. Mission Beach and Coronado island with there amazing beaches are a ten minute drive away. The gas-lamp district of downtown with it's trendy bars and resturants are a ten minute drive or a short bus ride.

Hillcrest is very walkable and the neighborhood has easy access to multiple bus lines. Ride-sharing services and taxis are readily available. The Freeway access is easy with hwy 163 and hwy 5. The international airport is only 15 minutes drive away and downtown 10 minutes drive away. Public transportation is readily accessible with several bus lines less than a block from my home.
The neighborhood of Hillcrest is very centrally located within the city. Whether you are in town for Comic-con, the Rock-n-Roll Marathon, LGTB Gay pride Festival, or to take in the beaches and many tourist attractions you will find my place to be ideally located.

On-street parking is generally available. This is a fairly busy urban area so parking can be limited some evenings. There is a single off-street parking space that can be used. You will find the area very walkable and won't need your car much.

My home is a non-smoking environment no smoking inside. Please no additional guests/visitors other than those registered. Please do not park in the driveways in front of the building. They are reserved spaces belonging to other residents (my driveway is at the back of the building).
