Joseph, I was surprised at your disappointment with the accommodations given that no previous guests have mentioned any of your complaints or challenges. Based on apparently having more guests than you stated in your reservation, how many beds and towels were used, the furniture being rearranged, and the evidence of smoking up outside, I assumed it was a more enjoyable experience for you. I try to be clear in the description that this is a very remote location and cell phone / Internet reception can be challenging; I will review the description and make sure it is clear to future guests that a remote log and stone dwelling may contain a few wifi dead spots, although I have never had a problem with Alexa playing music for me while I clean. Speaking of which, I check the cleanliness of the commonly used kitchen dishes and appliances regularly; some items on upper shelves don't get used often, so may be dusty. Thanks for alerting me as I can easily remove them from the kitchen. Ferngully is listed as pet-friendly, but I clean the house thoroughly after every guest. The water comes from a well and is softened; there is a slight mineral taste, but no sulfur taste or aroma. To that end, though, I have replenished the bottled water supply for those guests who may not be used to or enjoy the taste of natural well water. I appreciate you mentioning my ease of communication, but I do wish you had contacted me with your concerns during your stay rather than waiting until after the fact when nothing could be done to correct any oversights or explain any misunderstandings.
