Late check-in after 23hrs (11pm) has an extra cost of 15€ which should be paid at check-in, to cover transportation cost of the person doing your check-in.
Early check-in and late check-out are always a possibility (free of charge) as long as it doesn't interfere with incoming/outgoing guests.
No pets, no smoking, no parties, no after-parties and above all no disturbing the neighbours specially while entering and/or exiting the flat. The staircase becomes a sound funnel amplifying what seems like normal volume causing disturbance to the neighbours.
I´m an entrepreneur living in sunny Barcelona. You really can´t compare the weather combined with the food produce, leisure mentality and international community. I consider myself a frustrated cook, coffee and beer run through my veins, music and a good book (The Master and Margarita) constantly fight for attention but then again everything gets disturbed with the occasional adventure/adrenaline rush. I´m definitely a day person.
When it comes to travelling I tend to fill my mind with history of my future destination before departure as to allow more time to meet people and come in contact with their culture once at destination. As a host, I sometimes think I must have been a tour guide in a past life as I want to have people enjoy "my" city as much as I enjoy it.
