I live in the same building! SO we'll meet at check-in tme and check-out. But I am helpful if you need some clarification or indication about cultural itinerary or others.
Palermo's inner city is among the bigger downtowns of Europe. A walk in old Capo market is a beatiful date, you will discover an itinerary of elevated cultural and artistic merit, guide you from Massimo theatre up to the Cathedral flanking food's stands. There are two main axises, one runs from Normanni Palace to the small turistic port naimed Cala, the other one strarts and ends in the olds hystorical markets remains presently operant; from Ballarò to Capo.
Palermo downtown is not equipped by public transports, actually it does't need here. Here there is large possibility of free park just at few steps from the street doors. At airport you will find both bus and train station, (check on Palermo Metropolitana web-site) and costs about six euro, five minutes on walk from my apartment to "Palazzo Reale-Orleans" train station (let's check on map!). Easy and large opportunity of free and public parking. Better way to have a nice trip in Palermo is stroll through the alleys, absteining from tortures inflicted to horses constrict to bringhs tourists around, under the burning sun breathing from drainage pipes.
During your sojourn in my apartent privacy and serenity are guaranteed.
Pets are welcomes and any area is a smooking one. Guests have to rispect neighbourhood's sleep and do not demage places or stuff. Pay attention to books and other decors.

I was born in Palermo and during my youth I lived in many districts of the city. Now we live in Capo area, in the heart of downtown, one hundred meters from the Cathedral. I live at the first floor, Loft is at the third floor of the same building, so maybe we will be neighbours...
I studied Economcs, at Palermo University and I lived in Milan and in Salamanca during my studies.
I saw and joint many cities like Paris, Nice, Marseille, Bruxelles, Amstredam, Rottherdam, Barcelona, Madrid, Sevilla, Lisbon, Faro, London, Tunis, Tanger, Bucarest, Budapest, Athena, Ljubljana, Wien, Munich (surely forgot someone) every region of Italy. At the moment, my personal top three is: bronze's medal to Lisbon, silver's medal to Berlin and the gold's one to Instanbul.
For a short trip or a friends reunion, I never miss a chance to travel around.
During my studies I worked in an entertainment's company as director of human resources for four years than as weiter at some restourants in Palermo.
I use to give welcome to my freinds and show them the beauty of Palermo. I love to be the "Cicerone", to show itinerary of interest and I like satisfy well-read people curiosity. Share what we can't find reading guidebooks. That's my idea of travel.
